Sandman Signature St. John's Hotel

It was great …. Peaceful and quiet just what me and the wife was looking for

Our fav place to stay when in the city for volleyball

The room was great... we had a 1 bedroom suite. . Small kitchen.. it was perfect for us... the show was only a rain head one.. it did its job but would have rather have a better shower head... the room was good.. comfortable.. one side table in the living room was still dirty with coffee stains... and crumbs, but we just cleaned it up. A broom would have been nice but thats it..

Small mix up with double booked room but this was quickly rectified.

The staff was friendly and helpful. It was very convenient to have Moxie's Bar & Grille and Denny's on site.

This is probably one of the best hotels in St. John’s. I would recommend this hotel to anyone was an awesome day and we will be going back there again.

No problem with the hotel but there were a lot of sports teams. The children were running up and down the hakkw

Overall it was decent.

Location was close to lots of shopping and pubs.

Great place to stay!

Our stay started off a little rough, with getting to our room to find out the pictures on hotels.com don't match the room. (Make sure to go to the hotels website to confirm you have the right photos for your room) Once we got over that and the hotel offered to change our room, we settled in. The next morning around 6/630, my husband went to take a shower and the water was luke warm at best. When we asked at the front desk about the water they said that they are filling the hot tub and hot water will return shortly. (My thoughts are : why not change the water over in the middle of the night when people arent aware usually) Speaking of the hot tub and the pool, they really need to tone down the chlorine. We didnt go in because the smell was sooo strong just entering the pool room, that we skipped that idea. We also met a 12ish year old that had super red eyes and he felt sick after being in the pool. Poor thing. The workout room, we did utilize and it was fine and stocked with towels and it was clean. Housekeeping was basic, tidied the beds, restocked kitchenette and bathroom supplies, and maybe ran the vacuum over quick. Denny's and Moxies is right downstairs and we also utilized those. Overall, minus a few hiccups and that darn chlorine overload, our 5 day stay was very nice. We do reccomend the Sandman hotel any time of year, as we were there end of April to early May. Cheers!!

Free upgrade to suite. Very quiet hotel

Few issues i noticed. Room. Blocked out environment noise outside/halls/above poorly. Light sleeper or late morning sleeper or shift work. Might have a issue. Bathroom lighting was poor. Made it hard to have a shave. Nice bathroom & clean. Made it hard to shave. Elevator its slow. If your on a floor u don’t know if going up or down or coming and which one unless your on the ground floor. Perks. Great seating in the main lobby. Clean all around. Smoking area , pool , two main entrances. Decent wifi. Comfy bed & great shower tub. And two restaurant's on the building Moxie’s & Denny’s.
