Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy Lambert Apartments Old Montreal

This hotel is a great place to stay in Old Montreal if you'd like a little more space during your stay. It's great having a kitchen to use and living room space to spread out a little. And the location couldn't be better. It is a little loud at night, but the white noise machine and ear plugs are very helpful.

The property was nice, and was steps away from tons of restaurants, and Notre Dame Cathedral. Our only complaint about the unit that we rented (208), is that my husband had an allergic reaction to what we think was cat dander. It’s the only allergy he has, and despite the property having a strict no pet policy, he couldn’t stop sneezing while sitting on the couch. The hallway near our unit also smelled faintly of cats (litter). Other than that, we had a great stay. The unit itself was very nice and had everything we needed. It was the perfect location for exploring Old Montreal.

10/10. The place was clean and very chic. The 24/7 customer support was stellar and the overall security was excellent. Great location and right around the corner to delicious restaurants and nice local shops. Would recommend if you’re ever in Old Montreal.

A quaint fully stocked apartment hotel. No service whatsoever but any questions were answered quickly via text. Will stay at Sonder again.

Property in a convenient location. Steps away from Rue St Paul and Notre Dame Basilica. Studio was spacious and well decorated. Bedding was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Would stay here again. A bit noisy outside but they supply ear plugs.

Will stay at this Sonder every single time I’m in Montreal! Wonderful to walk to main attractions in Old Town! Safe and quiet and super clean! Good amenities!

Great location, very walkable to Chinatown, Downtown and Vieux Montreal. The apartment had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and having a kitchen and laundry was great.

The location was excellent, close to Chinatown and walkable to just about anywhere else, including the metro station. The room itself was spacious, elegant and allowing for bag storage after checkout was a nice touch although we did not need to use it. Would definitely stay in another Sonder with no reservations.

I was pleasantly surprised by how gorgeous the suite was. Was a very calm and quiet building despite being in a busy area. Will stay at Sonder again.

Impressed by the amenities offered in the room. A very spacious space with a nice bathroom with both shower and tub. It comes with a washer and dryer and clean kitchen. The place was quiet. Make sure you get there with enough juice in your phone to unlock the front doors.

Perfect for a quiet place

Sonder Lambert is very well stocked - washer and dryer in unit. Dishwasher, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer, cooking eating utensils, etc. This is a stay with no front desk meaning check in is all online. This is a bit inconvenient as the property only has 4 luggage lockers, one of which wouldn’t lock, and the only other free option for bag storage is a small unmonitored room that everyone in the building can access with their personal code. This room, as well as the lobby bathroom have a strong smell of mold/mildew, but the washroom specifically is definitely well kept up with. Coffee, lotions, soaps, dishwasher/washer pods, towels etc. are consistently restocked in a drawer just outside of the elevator. Staff leave the building at 6 PM. The room itself is very spacious and charming. Though there may be minor inconveniences (broken toilet paper holder, broken soap holder in the shower or a broken plug for bathroom sink) they are minor and do not at all effect the quality of the stay in my opinion. Simply open your Sonder app and make the staff aware of the issues to make sure you are not accidentally charged for damage that was done before you got there. I have forgotten on occasion to let Sonder know, but not once have been wrongfully charged by them. The Sonder team through the app is very helpful and responsive! You can tell their staff want their customers to come back and will accommodate you accordingly for any issues you may have. I recommend Sonder.

I would definitely stay here again. Having the washer/dryer allowed us to pack light on our trip and do laundry as needed. We didn’t plan to cook, but wanted to have the extra space of the seating area. And we ended up using the kitchen area when we brought home leftovers and to keep breakfast food for days we had early morning tours. Fantastic location in Old Montreal. Location is a 2 minutes walk to Notre Dame Basilica and every restaurant we wanted to try was within a 10 minute walk or less. Easy walk to the metro station as well. Sonder was new to me, and I wasn’t sure about the concept. It was great, no trouble accessing the property using the code and had access to extra towels, etc. in lobby if needed. Download the Sonder app and your stay will be easy. I never needed to contact them regarding any issues, so I can’t speak to that.

Spacious, Contemporary, stylish studio. It felt like going home. Easy access, clear instructions. Perfect location for walks and sightseeing. I’d return.

The room was really nice and clean only downsides was the check in process, you must use your code at the front door first.
