I loved the room. Very nicely planned out, the bathroom with laundry was spacious.

Great location and amenities. Easily walkable to restaurants, bars, an IGA supermarket is about 10 minute walk away. The Metro stop is right there, parked our car underground at Place Victoria, 5 minutes away. The unit was super clean and comfortable. Had one minor issue with one of the frying pans not connecting to any of the "smart" burners on the stove top. However, after a brief chat with a rep on the app, a replacement (which worked beautifully) was delivered quickly. Having 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the balcony (unit 701 on the top floor) was convenient for us and our two nieces. We all felt very safe not only in the building but in the neighborhood. Each bedroom had a noise machine and ear plugs but noise wasn't an issue for us. Washer/dryer worked great and detergent provided (as well as extra towels, toilet paper, etc) on site. Highly recommend this Sonder property!

Excellent location, very spacious comfortable and clean. Easy to access and close to subways, restaurants and attractions. Locked storage units would be very convenient for guest who arrive earlier, that would be a great adfition as there’s plenty of space in the lobby. Will definitely be back!

Very good location, very clean.
However the code access did not work not only once but twice. Hopefully their communication was easy and fast and they figure out the problem.
Still it was a bad experience to have to wait outside for more than 25 minutes to have a correct code of access

Perfect location. Very walkable to downtown old Montreal. Building has nice units that are modern and clean. Lots of dining options and IGA that is only a 10 minute walk to pick up grocery items

This is the second time I've stayed at Penny Lane, and it was an even better stay than the last (which was also great). We stayed in a queen studio suite, which was located at the front of the building. With a street facing unit, there was street noise as there are several restaurants and bars on St Jacques, but it wasn't excessive and is typical of a downtown experience. If you are sensitive to noise, selecting a room with a balcony would be better for you so it puts you in the courtyard and off the main street. The suite itself was excellently laid out, extremely clean, and both the furniture and bed were extremely comfortable. Sonder offers a self serve pantry, which is extremely handy to get additional supplies like coffee, tissues, etc should you need extras. I will absolutely stay at Penny Lane again.

Everything you needed was there in the kitchen. Easy and convenient to access with codes and messages. The bedroom have no lights other then bedside lamps - more lights would be efficient and no mirrors in bedroom. Fantastic time and will day again at a Sonders.

Tout était parfait, mais le réseau internet très lent et qui se déconnecte toujours… très désagréable. Surtout que la télévision doit être connectée sur le wifi de l’hôtel pour fonctionner. Le studio était plus petit que les photos, mais il ne manquait rien de plus. C’était facile et agréable de cuisiner dans ce studio. Puisqu’il est situé dans le centre-ville et que c’est bruyant à l’extérieur de l’hôtel, j’ai vraiment apprécié la petite « machine à sons » sur la table de chevet. Le bruit des vagues nous ont permis de bien dormir malgré la proximité de la rue. Enfin, la proximité d’absolument tout, resto, pharmacie, boulangerie et du métro etc…était plus qu’espérée.

I really wanted to like this place. But there is a big problem. The suites are beautifully renovated and functional. The kitchen is well equipped. Unfortunately there is a big but... the noise at night from the bar/pub downstairs is unacceptable. I was on the 5th floor - till 3am on Fri/Say night the "music" is pounding through the walls. I can't imagine what it's like for the rooms on the 2-4th floors. Maybe if your room is towards the back of the aparthotel it's better. I can't recommend staying here.

The studio was lovely, had all the amenities we needed and more. It was comfortable, quiet, and located in a great part of Montreal. The only issue with the keyless entry is on our second night, the code didn’t work and we had to wait about half an hour after midnight sitting on the floor outside our room until we were given a new code to get in. It was very frustrating, especially since it was late and we were very tired.

Perfect location and all the requirements and supplies for an amazing independent stay in terms of cooking, laundry and relaxing. As well as access to fantastic restaurants and attractions Montréal has to offer. Loved Penny Lane and Sonders in Montreal generally.
