Super 8 by Wyndham Saskatoon Near Downtown

The hotel provided what we needed to put our heads down . The rooms are modestly furnished. TV needed a different remote- got it from fr desk staff One lamp did not work. Too hinkey for me The property was quiet- which we enjoyed. 1st time accessible parking was available. The parking lot is on a slope- so it’s awkward. We opted for covered parking provided by the hotel. There’s security cameras but not all were operational. The room could use a deep clean. They miss a lot of marks etc. If I had to- I would stay there again but I’m looking at options.

Property in need of TLC! Shower curtain has a foul sour odor, towels were stained, dead bolt on door broken off, there were three spots on th walls where pictures used to hang but just the hooks left on the walls, the mirror in room looked to have been cleaned with a dirty rag, curtains hanging on by a few hooks.

DO NOT STAY HERE! When we arrived at the front desk we told to sit and wait by one man while the other sat there with his bare feet out. After a about 10 minutes they gave us our room cards and said they werent going to charge us a deposit (red flag). Entering the room I was met with a stale mildew smell in a very warm room that looked like it hadnt been cleaned properly in years. Stains and splatters of god knows what on the floors, walls, ceilings, EVERYWHERE. Next I checked the bedding where almost every item had some stain on it, every single pillow sheet, bottom sheet and even the pillow itself looked like it had blood stains. The bathroom was closed and upon entering I realized where the mildew smell was coming from. It smelt like the door hadnt been opened in months, bathtub was dirty, toilet looked like it had been used by a teenage hockey team for 2 weeks and almost every towel had stains. Finally I opened the mini fridge that wasn't on and was PACKED full of garbage/fast food containers that were just rotting. From check in to leaving to finding a clean hotel was all of 10 minutes and once confronted, the front desk staff was rude and brushed us off. Stay far away from this place, Literally stay anywhere else.

The room was smelly. The property was dirty inside and out. Lots of Derrilects hanging around. Plolice within the first five minutes in the parking lot.

Rooms were dirty, wall were paper thing. Can here the crack heads next room over partying. Coffee pot smelled like dirty socks.

The whole place was sketchy, the staff seemed stoned out of their mind. Room was disgustingly dirty with stains on the bedsheets where it looked like they didnt even change them. Rips in the mattress the safety lock on the door was broken off. Shower was so dirty i was afraid i would get tetanus from it. Ended up leaving after 1 night and not returning for the remaining 3 nights. Very scary area looks like it is out of a horror movie.

Room was ok. Check-in staff was atrocious. I drove 3 hours through a blizzard to get there. I stopped outside under the canopy after already doing the online check in process. I should have been able to just get the key and go to the room. Instead the person behind the desk, who looked like he belonged to some street gang, started the process again. At the same time my 11 yr old was locked in the truck and another truck behind me was calling the front desk complaining that I was checking in. The desk clerk told me to go park somewhere else without telling me where the parking was. I had to ask, to which he pointed in a general direction. I came back inside with my daughter where he finally gave me the key then stared at me. I was waiting for directions. When I asked where to go he was annoyed and kept staring at my 11 yr old daughter. I've checked into a lot of hotels over my lifetime and never have I been made to feel so uncomfortable. The desk guy was unfriendly, never smiled, barely spoke and was absent of all typical customer service skills. It felt like I had walked onto the set of a horror movie where the real desk clerk is tied up and bound, hidden out of sight while the movie villain tries to pretend they're the clerk to avoid suspicion. I will never set foot at this location again. I was made to feel my very existence at the hotel was a big inconvenience to everyone. The Super 8 in Regina was a great experience and the reason why booked this one. Never ever again.

The room was disgusting and filthy and the hotel didn’t allow us a different room when we asked. They said “all the rooms look like this”. They also denied us a refund. So we had to find a new hotel and pay for two different hotels. There were holes in the walls, the rugs hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathroom floor had hair and dirt. The toilet paper roll was left empty. The curtain rods were bent and falling out of the wall. The mattress had stains. It was horrendous. The hotel couldn’t care less about our concerns.

Room 201 Shower not working properly Exhaust fan is detached Face Towels have stains on them. Elevators are confusing. It says 3rd floor but the rooms are labeled 201-210. There is a used bottle water by the air conditioner.

The room was clean however, the bedside lamp didn't have any switches so only worked by plugging it in and out, the telephone didn't work at all so you couldn't even call the front desk, and there was no pot with the coffeemaker.. The add says it includes breakfast. When we inquired at check in the person didn't know where it took place but assured us there was indeed breakfast. In the morning when we went for breakfast we were told they were out of stock, so there was none,although there was no breakfast room. FALSE ADVERTISING!! Will never stay there again!

The rooms are disgusting! There bedding is dirty and or stained. There is mouse poison in the corners of the room. And I don’t think it’s ever been vacuumed. The fridge had mold in it and smelled awful. Not to mention the pee on the toilet seat I had to clean to use it. I can’t believe their are not closed for health violations!
