Needs updating

Staff was pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the bathroom has been recently updated. But the entire property could use freshening. Good for the price. But the photos are obviously dated.

Clean and comfortable room. Walking distance from superstore.Definately love to stay here again..

It could be cleaned better

I made this booking a last minute hope for the best. As it turned out, it was a great choice. It was clean and parking was easy. But best if all, it is close to a large supermarket along with a Dollar store and NSCL right near each other. The room was clean and comfortable and, once I figured out the heat pump, it was warm and comfortable. The USB charging unit in the room was very welcome, resulting in fully charged cell phones in the morning. I will definitely stay another night here.

We did not stay at the hotel, after checking in we experience some unsavoury characters in the rooms next to us. Also, the bed was too hard to sleep in. The walls were dirty, and the couch was crusty. All in all we decided to leave Because we did not feel safe or comfortable. Please do not charge our credit card.

This property was in poor condition. Wallpaper was peeling, fixtures rusty, furniture is worn and in some cases broken. Bedding was threadbare, worn out, and stained. Bathroom was dirty, and in poor condition with peeling paint, rusty register, and soiled garbage can. The entire room smelled of mildew. The heat pump could not be adjusted and just pumped out mildly warm are all night. A provided space heater couldn’t take the chill out of the room even at the highest setting. Our room had no tv or heat pump control. When we called about this the owner showed up at our door in flip flops and a McDonalds uniform and provided the remotes. Snow and ice on the exterior was not cleared or salted making it treacherous getting in and out of vehicle and going to from room. We booked here because of limited availability of accommodations in the area but would in retrospect have driven an hour away for a better experience and avoided this place.

Clean and good for a short stay. 10 minute walk to town.

The temperature control was sketchy. We froze the first night as heat shut off. We had to ask for coffee replenishment, room was not cleaned over 3 day period, snow was not ploughed until mid-morning so we almost got stuck, no snow shovelling by room so we had snow in our boots once we reached the room, no boot tray so floor got messy.

Bathroom needs repair. Leak under the sink, and cracks in the surround shower. Bathroom also dirty and rusted heaters.

Room 1 - Very run down, bathroom is filthy. We used towels to stop the cold wind coming in the door. Took almost 2 hours to get the room at a decent temp. Positive - bed was comfy and no bugs.

Dead bugs on window sills, gross stains on box spring cover , cheap matress, rusty baseboards left when heat pump installed. Paint peelng on exterior. Just crusty and uncomforting.

This was a quiet motel that served its purpose for me (rest stop between destinations). Nothing outstanding. Room had an older TV, desk, chairs, mini-fridge, and coffee machine. Bedding, towels, bathroom and other surfaces were clean, and staff was friendly enough. Heat was a bit confusing at first, but worked well once I got it going. Bed was a little bouncy for my liking, but I was able to get a good night’s sleep, shower, and be on my way. Sobeys and Subway around the corner was convenient. I would stay here again if I needed a low-key place to crash for the night.

Looked like a basic surface clean but after checking fridge there was a previous renters leftover consumed rotisserie chicken meal. Overall felt a little dingy
