This hotel room is actually located in an apartment building. It's not a 5-star hotel but, but the price is absolutely unbeatable to get a one-bedroom apt with full kitchen.

This was a very convenient location with everything that you would need for a comfy stay. The dollar store was close by so I was able to pick up a few things that the kitchen was lacking.

Really decent size apartment with good amenities. It’s a little dated but more than happy with it considering the price and central location One thing to note is that the lock needs looking at as it was jammed a couple of time and difficult to lock upon exit.

The first room was filthy and AC broken. After we found used syringe, we changed rooms. Second room was cleaner but not great. Apartment manager asked for info on who is subletting apt w/o their knowledge.

You absolutely get what you pay for, it’s cheap and in an amazing spot! No frills living which was okay for two friends traveling together. All of our complaints were handled quickly by the owner/manager which was nice! Just needs a deep clean and maybe an update!

The location was great for getting around downtown. Building is full of students, forget peace and quiet on a Saturday night. Mohammed was helpful & curteous. Apartment was worn and needs decorated, the parque flooring was damaged and needs repaired properly. If you’re a single guy hitting the town, this is ideal. Not for families with young kids.

For a furnished apartment is not fully equipped, had to ask for glasses, bought dish and face clothes ourselves. Limited utensils. Garbage left in the front closet, several bugs crawling around in the kitchen area, no range hood on the stove. For tv lovers, beware, this unit had antenna tv and very limited channels. Great location and building well secured though.

For the money it was an acceptable room. The bathroom was clean as was the refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. The a/c was up on the ceiling and I had to stand on a chair to adjust it so not ideal. The location was fine -- within a 20 minute walk of everything I needed to get to for the Toronto International Film Festival. Surprisingly modern building on a block of old houses.

Don't be lured by the photos. the unit does not look anything like them. A bit old and scruffy looking with dirty carpets in the hallway. They wanted to charge 35$ for the bedding for the pull-out couch. The downtown location is great for,the price.

Met by a friendly member of someone managing the property who helped with bags etc. Had the place for 2 weeks. 2 towels left (one was covered in mould never came across that before) the apartment itself was in a poor condition and needed some serious money spent on it. Mattress was so uncomfortable I took the sofa bed mattress in the living room and put it on top. Large cupboard with broken things in it. Bit of a health and safety nightmare with our little child. I would find it difficult to rate it 1 star and we did pay good money for the 2 weeks. It served the purpose and the WiFi and cable was the only thing going along with the air con.

I stayed in a room for 4 days with no heat. They came twice to fix it and didn't. They also never switched my room. I was there for New Years and the weather was -20°C . I was highly p'd off. They also had roaches . Not a hotel, should not be on this site. It was great price and space wise but the building was nasty.

Overall the place is a perfect and reasonable place to be literally around the corner from everything. We had a great view on the 32nd floor. Intially we had cleanliness issues but those were taken care of for the most part by the owners. Don't expect a hotel like experience or appearance. It is great for convenience at a reasonable price and it grows on u.

Good things: location was great, nice view, full large kitchen Bad things: staff was late to check us in, weren't sure if we had paid or not, didn't ask for a $250 deposit that the Expedia site said was required, wouldn't give us early check in even though it was advertised on the Expedia site, only gave us one set of keys, didn't tell us the right wifi network or password, room was clean except for some streaks on the walls in the bathroom and kitchen, couch and futon smelled a bit stinky (had to febreze the place), air conditioning was pretty much useless (bought a fan to get a breeze going through), cleaning lady showed up a full day before we checked out, not enough towels or toilet paper provided (kitchen included a single dish towel, bathroom two towels, no hand towels). We weren't expecting much for the price we had paid, so overall our expectations were met. But I would think that a few of these issues could've been easily dealt with, or handled better.
