Guangdong Hotel Zhuhai

Staffs are very friendly, we were stayed at an apartment suite. 2 bedrooms with 2 @ 1.8m beds, my children were very happy. They both said they would like to stay at the same hotel for our next visit.

Clean room, nice staff, best breakfast!!!

The AC did not work. Ran out of toilet paper.

Friendly and helpful staff.,The hotel is within a walking drive stance (15 minutes) to the railway station from where it is possible to take a 40 minute bus ride for 40 RMB to the airport.

The location is convenient to get to the railway station (20 minutes on foot) and the airport (40 minutes by bus from the railway station).

Great location! Great service! Great condition! Quick check in! Great view of Zhuhai and Macao on 29th floor restaurant!

We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment for 3 nights. Originally we were checked into room 13G and due to some smells that I can only describe as old library or thrift store smell, we requested a room change. The staff were accommodating and put us in 23G, which was slightly better. First thing to note is that a 4-star hotel in China is not the same as a 4-star hotel in North America. The apartment we stayed in was located in a separate tower than the main hotel rooms, and seemed significantly worse for wear than the standard hotel rooms (my family stayed in a standard room last year and found it satisfactory, which was the reason why we stayed here). Things we liked about this hotel: location, reasonable price, and being able to stay in one apartment as a family. If you’re from North America, the apartment in this hotel is reminiscent of a poor decision many years ago to stay at a Howard Johnson in Detroit. One of our bathrooms had a clogged shower drain, and the carpeting in the rooms were suspect. Having stayed in other hotels in China, I fully understand that the beds are firmer than the standard North American mattress, but this bed was hard as rock. After 3 nights of sleeping here, I developed quite the sore back (and I’m in the prime of my life!). My recommendation is that if you pick this hotel to stay at, steer clear of the apartments and opt for an upgraded room in the main tower instead.

Adequate hotel but the rooms we stayed in were quite dated. There are some refurbished rooms but suspect they are marked at a higher price. Would be ok with that if it was clear on the website (which it's not) Interesting location for the breakfast. Great view up there. Breakfast not so accommodating towards western delights. Wifi unnecessarily complicated to log in. Ended up not using it.

We rented an apartment, which had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. The overall apartment was very nice. The kitchen had no plates, bowls, cups, or silverware, however, which made it very difficult to use. The WIFI was poor and we couldn't get it to work, but since we had our own WIFI router, it wasn't necessary for us.

Very nice location, within walking distance to Macau. Conveniently located near bus stations, taxis are readily available near hotel front door. Many great restaurants nearby.

Will stay here again, the only bad point is that internet is extremely unstable.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Room size is reasonable, toilet with bath tub but not very big. Furniture in the room is abit old and bed abit on the hard side but still ok for us. It is located within walking distance of the Gong Bei checkpoint if you know the route otherwise you can take a taxi which wouldn't cost very much (hotel-checkpoint about RMB10). There are quite a number of eateries near and around the hotel. Hotel staff are ok but the room TV is a disappointment. Though it has many TV channels, you would need to scroll up/down 1 by 1. They isn't any key pads for you to key direct to the channel you want. Hotel needs some upgrading.
