What a nice experience in Salento. The hotel is well maintained and comfortable
The main plaza in Salento can be a bit loud at nighttime, and this hotel is just far enough to offer a quiet evening and relaxing sleep.
With just a 5 mins block to all the good spots in the town
Staff was helpful and always available to help us during the stay

I have booked dozens of stays at this hotel and never bothered to leave a review. So here it is. Fantastic hotel with superb location close to Camino Real. You will notice that many use the hotel as a base for a visit to Cocora so they hotel offers an efficient breakfast service for hikers. It's the original purpose built hotel that tips its hat to local construction methods and design. I cannnot say enough good things about it, this place was a great choice in Salento back when Salento went to bed at 8pm and there was nothing to do. They are pioneers of toursim in the town. That's how good they are.

The hotel was wonderful! The staff was very friendly, breakfast was really good and super easy access to the main street in Salento. A BIG plus was that the property has a parking garage and that made a big difference since street parking in Salento could be difficult during weekends or in high season. Highly recommended!

Very clean and newly renovated hotel, one block away from the main shopping street and 5 min away from the Park ( where the Willys for Cocora Valley are). . Very quiet, good quality cosmetics, free potable water in the main lobby, comfortable pillows, lots of TV channels, safety deposit box. Good hot water pressure. Very charming too.
Heads up there is no heat ( it gets chilly at night), so have a proper pijama and at least a sweater and long pants for evening walks. No need for AC during the day. Suggestions : a screen should be installed on the bathroom window, heaters availability for guests, a tall mirror in the room, more hangers are needed. I will gladly returned at this hotel, I actually liked it a lot. Customer service is good, and Alejandra is a top notch employee. She deserves a raise.

Property is 1.5 blocks away from Calle Real. Nice staff. Breakfast is self serve with food quality just average. As located in small village street, expect some noise from street vendors in the mornings. Overal positive stay.

The hotel was pretty, the staff were fantastic, the restaurant had really good food, the free breakfast was excellent and the location great (since it was about 4 blocks from the main plaza and away from the noise). One thing I didn’t like is that even though everything was clean in the room, once I removed the comforter and the sheet to get in bed there were several strands of long hair, some light stains that didn’t look old and the bedding didn’t smell sharply clean. If it wasn’t for that I would give the hotel 5 stars all around.

O Hotel é muito central na cidade de Salento e a uma curta distância de várias fazendas de café. O quarto em que ficamos era de ótimo tamanho e bem limpo. Tivemos alguma dificuldade em temperar a água do chuveiro, as vezes muito quente e de repente esfriava. Pegamos um dia de muito chuva e apareceu uma goteira no nosso quarto mas foi pequena e não no incomodou. Havia uma festa próximo ao hotel durante todo o fim de semana e apensar de não ser culpa deles o barulho incomodou um pouco.

If you can afford it, stay in one of the suites. Our suite was on the 5th floor and had an amazing view through many large windows of the valley and the mountains. We had a jacuzzi in room as well which was great to use at night.
The hotel is located very conveniently to the Main Street and just a few blocks from the plaza. But, it is all either up or down hill. Good exercise!
The only disappointing thing was the included breakfast. Tasteless coffee, not good for the coffee region; plated and not too tasteful fruit; limited egg preparation and with white bread toast. This is all served in a buffet fashion with a waitress taking your egg order.
I guess we were spoiled after being in a fabulous B&B in Cartagena with a beautifully prepared breakfast in a garden!
