Wow - what a beautiful room. We were concerned it looked too good to be true, but the view from the hot tub really is that perfect. Couldn't be closer to the beach, and the room was very comfortable - the terrace is stunning. Great value, and we couldn't have asked for a friendlier welcome: all the staff are fantastic and went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Beach. It is situated right next to the beach and provides sun loungers. The room was clean and was serviced every day. Very modern, great shower, air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was included in the rate and was provided in the hotel next door which was less than a minute's walk away. Good breakfast. There was a bus stop very close to the hotel from which you could take a bus to Split, every half hour or to Omis in the other direction. There was also somewhere close by where we could take a trip out to the beautiful islands so we did not have to go into Split to catch the boat. Unfortunately British Airways lost our luggage and we were without it the whole week (BA have found it now we are home again and still not returned it to us 12 days later but thats another story!). The hotel staff were very sympathetic and even kindly lent us a phone charger/adaptor to use while we were there as this was something we had packed in our suitcase.

What I liked was they brought us fruit or pastries every morning. What I didn't like was that they didnt tell us that they were upgrading us to a room with a kitchen although we would have been happy with the room that we ordered, seaview room. So, because of that, when we got there she surprised us with a charge of €100 and it had to be in cash. I only had €60 in cash so she took the last of my cash. I told her she needs to warn people if they need to bring cash for deposits. Then on the last day the restaurant wanted €20 for a buffet breakfast and when we mentioned it to the front desk she said "we would have given you a voucher for €15". No mention of that on check in. We ended up going to the bakery across the street and getting a croissant (cash only) then bringing it back to the room and made coffee there. The restaurants in the area are ok. We liked the Olive Garden for dinner the one night but when we went back the next day for lunch we had a different server and it wasn't so good. The restaurant associated with the hotel was also good at dinner but when we went there the one time for lunch, the server didn't know what a mimosa was. So instead of asking me or the bartender, he just chose not to bring me anything. Haha. If you want to take this hotel's shuttle to the airport, it's a €50 charge and is basically a car and driver. The rooms were very clean. Overall, if you are not dependant on being able to walk places it's a nice place to stay.

Biggest disappointment is realizing this hotel does not have restaurant, and breakfast can be purchased at nearby hotel for 12 euro for adults and kids both. This if find rather expensive for Croatia. However, stay was very pleasant, weather even too hot, but this is normal for August. Stobrec road is always blocked, so count 15-45 minute stalls if traveling in Split direction.

Beach view was great. Room was not comfortable and shower was awkward handheld. Parking not guaranteed and staff not available all hours or even during posted times. Had to eat at hotel next door which seemed much nicer.

They don't accept credit cards, you have to pay cash (in 2016), the reception is suppose to be open from 7am-2pm only; we stopped there while on business trip, had to leave early and were waiting for staff to appear only at 7:35! we had to pay additional tax and the lady could not give us any proof of payment, not even a single printout confirming we payed the city tax.

A wonderful little hotel right on its own little stretch of beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went out of their way to help us however they could. We were slightly worried about being further out from Split, but buses were so frequent and hardly took any time at all. The room was very modern and clean, the only downside being that the double bed had two single mattresses on it! Apart from this though it really was perfect and we will definitely be going back.

Spent a week at this hotel. It is very well located on the beach and walking distance from a marina with a couple of excellent restaurants, and a cheaper one very close. Great views from the room balcony over the Adriatic. It was almost closed season when I stayed so not much activity around the hotel so it was nice and quiet. I suspect it would be very different in high season! Close to a bus stop for travel into Split. Buses are every 30 mins and cost 13 kuna.

Flight was from heathrow to zagreb with a 7hour stop over, then to split. I thought there will be accomedation until my 2nd flight. Instead had to wait in airport 7hours When i got to split my hotel was not close and ended up spending 50 euros in taxi. When i got to the hotel staff was friendly but room was poor. There was a terrible smell from the bathroom. I was meant to have a double bed, instead i had two single beds. Breakfast included was horrible. The bath tub has a jacuzi, but when i used it as the water got past the air bubbles it was not clean so my bath was filled with dirt, wich i did not notice while in the bath as there was loads of bubbles. Only thing good was i had a room that takes me direct to the beach wich was nice. Other then that a huge no.

Great position, don't be put off access. Organised my own taxi from Split airport he didn't have a clue where it was, luckily had my own bike sat nav. Very helpful staff made our stay a joy.

Great location right on the beach. 20 mins Bus ride to Split Old Town. Grocery Store 200m Walk. Not much else around so if your looking just to chill out for a few days it is a great location. Free WiFi and TV

We had a lovely stay. Our room was a small suite with double bedroom and huge balcony facing the sea. Within 2 minutes walk we were on the beach which was a white pebbles beach and very clean. All staff in the hotel did their upmost to make our stay with them nice. Breakfast was serviced at the hotel next door and there were many lovely restaurants to eat out at near by.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach about a 15 minute taxi ride away from the old town. The front desk staff was very accommodating and incredibly helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
