Guesthouse 44 was a perfect place to stay in Dubrovnik. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful. The staff are incredibly helpful. The location on an alley off the main street is so convenient to all the sights. Stay in Old Town for sure. Don’t worry about needing to get your luggage to the room. Our friends who stayed outside of Old Town had to ride the bus everywhere but we were in the middle of all the beauty of the historic town.

An oasis of calm in otherwise extremely busy and crowded city. Elegant, well designed interior. Add to that kind and friendly staff (Rafaela is outstanding) and you’ll never ever stay anywhere else in Dubrovnik.

We really wish we could give this property 5 stars. The room was comfortable and quiet even with its location in the middle of the old town. The terrace was lovely and the staff were wonderful, especially Rafaela.
But in hot weather the room air conditioning could not get our room temperature below 77 or 78 F, which made it very stuffy
So definitely stay here in cooler weather, but best to avoid in the summer heat.

This has been one of the best experiences in my travels. It is a beautiful property and close to everything. The people who work there make you feel like you are staying with friends (because family isn’t this nice)! I highly recommend this guesthouse as well as the restaurant.

Our three night stay at Guest House Forty Four was just perfect. The room was light and airy, old character mixed with modern living, every convenience you can think of was provided, beautiful shower room with mirrors, toiletries and towels. The staff were most attentive, nothing was too much trouble and we were collected from the transfer taxi at the city gate by Raphaella, who insisted on carrying our luggage. Breakfast in the Forty Four restaurant was excellent with personal service. We had dinner here twice and the food and service were five star. Highly recommend.
Bear in mind accomodation is upstairs, no lift for those less able.

Wow!! 11 out of 10. Beautiful hotel in perfect central location close to everything. The room was very well equipped and thought out with all of the little touches that make things great.
A good breakfast prepared to order. What made the experience so great was the staff, everyone was super friendly and professional. Lovely smiley people!! One recommendation - include a better description of the location. Literally say it is in the upper floors of Restaurant Forty Four and use that address. The street address on file is around the corner and not related.

Room was lovely all the staff were excellent.
Comfortable bed, beautifully tided and cleaned every morning.
Oliver looked after us for breakfast every morning, being helpful and polite.
The restaurant food was excellent, ate here 2 nights as a treat.
Perfect location in the walled town, could walk around easily, could be a little noisy at night, but that was from being close to the beer tavern, outside area…this went peaceful after midnight.
We had a lovely time in this very perfect property…thank you.

This hotels is in a great location next to many restaurants and bars. Just off the Main Street but walkable to anything in old town. Staff was very attentive and the housekeeping was among the best we have seen. Includes breakfast is just the right amount of food. We hope to return soon.

The room was lovely, with a nice private terrace. Guesthouse Fortyfour is in the middle of the walled city, so it was a busy area with loud music from a nearby bar at night. The windows are well sound-proofed, which helps!
