Nice hotel in a decent location and quite comfortable. The breakfast is quite good and the staff helpful. They have adopted the spreading custom of only cleaning the room if requested for "environmental" reasons. Sounds to me like a cost saving..

The hotel was close by to everything I needed from transport to shops to dining. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly and patient with me as I don’t speak English also as I suffer from anxiety I had a few moments where I needed some help and confirmation on things. The room I had was the junior suite and it was clean and tidy, a little warm however you can request for adjustments in the room temperature as I was only sleeping in there I didn’t really want to bother them. Breakfast was plenty full and much choice, from cereals to continental to cooked food even ginger shots, juices and coffee and tea. Coffee was magnificent I must say. If I ever visit Aalborg again this hotel will be my choice to stay again.

We had stayed at two other Scandic hotels in Norway and knew what to expect. At least we thought so. This was a step below their Norway counterparts. The lobby was okay, but rather small. The parking was insufficient. The front desk/bartender was overworked. The breakfast, although more than adequate, was no where near the Norway levels. Overall, the place needs a makeover.
