This is my 2nd out of season stay at the Conference Hotel Klinten. I love it because of its location set in a lovely coastal town and my room overlooks the harbour and sea. Out of season, it’s perfect for me because I can rest and relax after a hard business day. The hotel complex which is made for conferences and summer tourism is what it is basic but clean and sufficient for my needs. I do like it and will stay a 3rd time.

We were informed very late that we couldn't access rooms until 1 hour after standard time. When given access we found one room not cleaned. When informing staff we only got options: wait for "someone" to clean room or take another room, without sea view. We asked them to clean the room. When "done", we still found bins not emptied and no towels. Asked for new towels and were promised them. Finally had to go down for them myself. Porter nice enough but hotel totally understaffed. We were "compensated" with four free gin tonics. I think a total refund of the uncleaned room would have been ok.
