Great place to bring family for weekend! Close to city center allows you to quickly enjoy Cophenhagen!

The hotel is a good location within the city. Breakfast was well worth having although I wouldn’t pay separately for it. Pool and gym is a great space all be very busy in the afternoons. Staff are friendly but don’t follow through, it took 4 times of asking to get a mug and glasses changed in our room as one had a lipstick mark upon arrival. Corridors gradual got dirtier as the week went on. On final note we got an email asking us to pre check in to save queueing and a room may available upon arrival if earlier than 3pm. Instead we had to queue with everyone else there was no benefit to pre checking in, and there was no room available early. We asked to bag drop so we could go out and this took a long time to sort out.

Family friendly for family with small kids

The room was very clean, good size, and the bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in early after a very long travel which made a huge difference. The rooftop bar was lovely and affordable. We enjoyed using the pool and sauna at no extra cost. Would definitely recommend staying.

I love my stay at the Tivoli Hotel - perfect location as I took a bus from Gothenburg to Copenhagen, and it is only 6-mins walk away from the bus station! It is also very accessible to the main attractions by walking or public transport. The room that I stayed at was really clean and comfortable, I also had a balcony to get some fresh air. One thing I’d point out is the pillow - the small pillow was a bit small and the big one (more like cushion) was huge. I’m sure you can ask for a pillow that you’d prefer but I wasn’t bother to do so. The other thing I love about this hotel is its amenities. The gym, swimming pool and sauna are open from 7am till 10pm (it’s closed for a certain period for cleaning), which this is much appreciated, especially if you have a long day visiting the city and want to relax and unwind before you go to bed. I’d recommend staying at this hotel and I’ll come back next time!

Be aware that the side by side room which is marketed as 1 double room side-by-side suitable for family is in fact 2 completely separate rooms equal to booking two different rooms in two different reservations. This is Not suitable for a family with small kids, there is no door between them. Don’t book this option if you have small kids. We even talked to the hotel manager about this but strangely they absolutely don’t agree this false marketing and pushed the problem to us. After insisting they finally agreed to resolve it for the second night. Our first night was a disaster due to this, walking constantly in the corridor to get from one room to the other room and monitor kids or check on them. However at the end they helped us with moving to a real family room with interconnected rooms. The price is quite high for what you get. We paid nearly 500 euro per night with breakfast for this “family room”. We won’t go back.

It is a modern hotel with usual amenities. The breakfast was exceptionally good. The closet space was very limited. They have restaurants and bar on the property. There is also a mall at walking distance with large food courts with many food choices and sit down restaurants. The city center is about 20 min walk from hotel. There is also a hop on hop off bust stop right in front of the hotel. There is also a indoor swimming pool in the ground floor which can be crowded on busy days. Overall good property for a stay.

The room was clean and the staff polite and helpful. The breakfast was great and varied. Easy access to public transport and to the river. .

It is a very nice hotel with a good sized pool and sauna in the basement. Easy accessible by car. The rooms are nice and beautifully decorated. Our only complaint is that one of the rooms our family booked was lacking soap, and it wasn't refilled. And also that in the room where I stayed the tooth glasses were very dirty with fat and marks of a mouth. There was a water boiler in our room, but no cups or other glasses that we could use for coffee. The breakfast was ordinary and okay.

The hotel is lovely. The food was lovely. What I didn’t like was having to book for breakfast ( because they said it wasn’t a booking, just an expression of preference) and having to sign to say you won’t spend more than 45 minutes eating breakfast, or more than 2.5 hours on dinner. I dont like having to clock watch while I eat. I am also really annoyed that we ordered alcohol free beer and they served my husband ( 3 years sober recovering alcoholic with cirrhosis) alcohol!

Amazing hotel, with espetacular breakfast. Our child had so much fun at the swimming pool! Hotel next to the Fisketorvet, a mall with a pretty good food hall and next to the M4 metro train. Wi-fi could be better.

Disappointing Experience for Families – Not as Advertised We recently stayed at the Tivoli Hotel, which is heavily marketed as a family-friendly hotel. Unfortunately, aside from the play area, the family facilities were poor and the actual guest experience fell far short of expectations. The "Breakfast Club" Experience The biggest letdown of our stay was the breakfast arrangement. Families are barred from the main restaurant buffet and instead relegated to a temporary "Breakfast Club." The setup felt incredibly sterile and uninviting; more reminiscent of a temporary emergency evacuation center than a hospitality venue. Coffee Bottleneck: There was only one "barista" handling the entire room. With long queues and no option to order coffee to your table, getting a morning drink was an exercise in patience. Repetitive Menu: The food selection offered zero variety, featuring the exact same options every single day. Room amenities: the soap/shampoo dispensers were what you’d expect in a 2 star hotel. Very cheap and poor quality products. Shower was over a very narrow bathtub making a relaxing shower quite difficult. If you are traveling as a family expecting a warm, welcoming, and seamless hotel experience, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere in Copenhagen. The current setup makes families feel like a box ticking exercise rather than valued guests.

Nice hotel that was close to the train station/Metro.

Junior suite layout a bit funky too cut up for my taste - the full 1 bedroom suite was perfect. Thank you for having Netflix for your north American guests
