We really liked the staff that chatted with us and helped out when we had issues with the TV--never did get it to work! The hotel was fun to roam around but the breakfast was limited and there was no one that helped out with the food. The room was very pretty and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay aside from a few flies and the outdoor odor of pigs.

Nice historic out of the way hotel. The location was right off the main highway so it made a great mid point stopover. We were in the tower room which was on the 3rd floor. We we warned about the spiral staircase but the room with a big tub made it worthwhile.

The hotel is so lovely and cozy, bed so comfortable. The people are amazing so nice and helpful, went above and beyond to help make out stay perfect. Loved staying there so much!

It was fun to stay at a real castle. I enjoyed touring the first floor of the main building. My room was very comfortable except for the bathroom, which was cold and dreary. The wifi did not work at all, but I suppose that's what ones give up to stay in a castle. I believe that the staff was stretched too thin. There seemed to be only one person doing everything except cooking.

It was a great hotel out in the beautiful landscape of Denmark. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was lovely. The only really negative part was the smell from the farms.

Apon arriving we parked in the hotel car park and got out of the car to be greeted by the smell of a pig farm, right next door. You walk across the the moat's bridge up to the hotel, in front of you is a large door, with a faded red carpet going up the steps, there is a sign pointing to reception indicating that you should go to the corner of the building and down some old steps to reach it. reception is on a lower level than the ground floor, once we had checked in we went back to the car for the cases, lugged them accross the car park & down the steps then had to get them up a narrow SPIRAL staircase to our room. Requires a bit of effort. NO Lift. Our room was comfortable with a double bed and a single bed in it. If you walked along the hall and into what they called the living rooms these rooms where full of old furniture something like Louise X1V would have had, I thought it was great, Whacky but great. The breakfast was ok

Vi hadde to rom. Det hang en konvolutt på døra og vi måtte finne frem selv. Det var vel over tretti grader på rommene og veldig innestengt, det ene stinket gammel røyk. Det var ikke noen form for kald drikke eller mat, alt var stengt på ankomstdag. Om morgenen ble det spurt når vi ville ha frokost og det er det mest skuffende jeg noen gang har opplevd. Vi var to gjester, det var tre små rundstykker og fire halve små rugbrødskiver dekket på et fat, det brødet klarte ingen av oss spise. Fire små ruter av en svett ost som dekket halve rundstykket, fire små salami og fire små fleskete pålegg av et eller annet. Ikke vann. Kaffe som ingen drikker, og vi fikk en halv liter eplejuice på deling, det var alt de hadde. Veldig skuffende, og vi ble absolutt ikke mette! Vi betalte ikke for en så dårlig og elendig service! 290kr pr stk. for nesten ingen ting!
Nei! Dette var en skuffende opplevelse fra vi kom til vi reiste! De få gjestene som vi traff var og meget skuffet, noen reiste videre før natten kom! Det er ikke til å anbefale for noen. Et stengt slott som er til nedfalls på baksiden!

Dejligt værelse med herregårdsstemning og grøn udsigt. Virkelig god seng hvor jeg sov som en drøm. Fik morgenmad serveret om morgenen med både kaffe, the, æble- og orangejuice, diverse brød og pålæg og en lille yoghurt med granola. Virkelig sød og imødekommende personale på stedet, som gjorde opholdet og oplevelsen virkelig hyggelig. Et stille, roligt ganske fint sted.

You should get your money back. No service at the hotel or proper handling of bookings. No breakfast available at any time. We booked without breakfast but there was not a possibility to buy if you wanted to. Noe personal present at any time. But the worst thing is the smell of mould. As of now our clothes smells really bad and there should be a reduce fee when providing that bad service. How Will you repay us for this?

Hyggeligt slotshotel med masser af charme. Pænt værelse med bad og masser af puder i sengen 😊 eneste ulempe var den stejle vindeltrappe til 1.sal hvor løft af kuffert og dragtpose var udfordrende for en mand på min alder (70) derfor ikke velegnet til handicappede

Værelserne var meget fine, der var rent og pænt.
Vi har også haft et ophold på Vrå sidste år, hvor Slottet var åbnet og vi kunne benytte hoveshuset til at sidde, drikke kaffe og arbejde. Vi var klar over at køkkenet var lukket. Men vi ikke forberedte på at hele hotellet var lukket, med undtagelse af den længe hvor vi skulle sove. Det var pænt utilfredsstillende at blive mødt af en lukket dør og nøgle i en kuvert. Man booker da ikke et slotsophold for kun at sidde på sit værelse!!
Vores booking hed også værelse i hovedhuset, værelserne lå i sidelængen og mener ikke man kan kalde det for hovedhuset!
Jeg havde også søgt på ophold incl morgenmad og det var ikke incl morgenmad med morgenmad tilgængligt og vi måtte derfor betale for morgenmad ud over ophold. Wifi virkede heller ikke og da vi ringede til “nedtelefonen” var det så ikke noget de kunne hjælpe med.
Morgenmaden var fin og det var en sød oldfrue som serverede for os.
Men det er ikke et sted vi kommer igen.

Booked & prepaid via Hotels.com, but when we arrived the hotel had double booked and sold our room twice. Had to find a new hotel even though the confirmation for Hotels.com showed we were right and also had paid upfront.
