Barceló Bávaro Palace - All Inclusive

This is our third trip here. Premium level is worth the $$. Take advantage of the Spa!!!!

Outdated. The shower drain had a screw sticking out from the bottom. The refrigerator did not work. The tram stops were few and far between. The food was meh. I’ve been to better resorts in Punta Cana.

Property was great. The only thing I was focus on is improving staff at restaurants to be more attentive to guests.

Beautiful Property/Beach. Friendly Staff. Did not Appreciate being lied and sold on a "Panoramic Sea View Suite" and given a Garden+ Street or road View Suite instead. Sea view suites cost extra, lying to people and telling them the street and garden suits on first floor are the same as the ones above is both wrong and fraud. Was never compensated in any way, albeit had room changed at the very least next day (Thank you mr. Johny Santos And Smiley for the help with room change. Annie from activities and staff were Amazing room situation aside.

The hotel is gorgeous and provides ample pool options. The beach is not the best, I feel that it could have been clean

My room was awful !!! When we walked in there was a weird smell . The room was ice cold but humid . The floors felt wet out clothes felt wet as they laid in the too. For the days we stayed . Both bathroom sinks were clogged and could not use them . The ceiling over by the balcony area was shedding and cranking from an are that appeared to be wet from the upstairs room leaking down into our room. Never found the tv remote control . That God we only stayed 2 nights Was not impressed at all !!! I did complain at check out and manager said I should have notified them right away to change us to a different room but we were there gig short stay that we decided to just deal with it .

La comida de muy mala calidad, no tienen variedad de cerveza, te quieren cobrar de mas por cualquier cosa… La atención fue mala y mucha espera para que te atiendan. Los restaurantes casi todos son malos, demasiada espera y muchas veces no tienen cita disponible o muy tarde. No lo recomiendo

I recently stayed at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace and had a truly unforgettable experience. The resort itself is stunning – from the pristine beaches to the beautifully maintained grounds, everything exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, the amenities were top-notch, and the variety of activities made each day exciting. What truly made my stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding service provided by our personal butler, Jorge. From the moment we arrived, Jorge went above and beyond to ensure our trip was smooth and enjoyable. He was incredibly attentive, always checking in with us to see if we needed anything, and quick to assist with restaurant reservations, spa bookings, and even helping with special requests. Jorge’s warm personality, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel so welcome and taken care of. He truly elevated our experience and turned a great vacation into an exceptional one. Thank you, Jorge, for your incredible service – and thank you to the entire team at Barcelo Bavaro Palace. I can’t wait to return!

The resort was great, the rooms were nice and clean. The staff was helpful, the grounds on the property clean and maintained. The restaurants had a great selection of food to choose from. I was a little disappointed they charged me $20 for not returning the towel card that my son lost. It’s not like I wanted or kept the towel lol, but whatever overall nice experience.

Food was soo bad all the food

We had high expectations for this hotel, but unfortunately, our stay was far from pleasant. The property was overcrowded, and the service in the restaurants was poor and chaotic. Staff frequently dropped glasses, and tables were rarely set properly — we had to constantly ask for utensils, napkins, and basic table prep. Our room had a persistent bad smell, and the bathroom was not clean upon arrival, which made the stay uncomfortable. The food was below average and repetitive. To top it off, the beach was covered in sargassum, making it unusable most of the time. The only positive part of our stay was the Kids Club — the staff there were attentive and the activities were well organized. Sadly, that was not enough to make up for the overall experience.

The whole staff was amazing , there was a employee named Vernacia, she’s amazing , we are very glad with how she help us and we would definetely come back to this hotel

Super nice property, clean rooms, good food, beach is beautiful! Kinda confusing to make reservations but maybe it was the language barrier. Over all super nice place.

This is the 5th time I I stay at this Resort, we love the atmosphere and safe environment, I also want to thank the staff and Emmanuel for making our stay this year more enjoyable.see you next year.

Todo excelente para familias con niños! La comida espectacular, el parque acuático y las actividades! Ya queremos volver! 20/10!!

La propiedad es bien grande, hay mucho personal que ofrecen un excelente servicio, todo está muy limpio y en perfectas condiciones. Hay mucha diversión, Casino, Discoteca para bailar, Teatro, tiendas para comprar de todo y muchos restaurantes para cenar todo tipo de comida. Y lo más importante los Dominicanos son muy amables, cordiales, serviciales…un amor de gente ❤️

This place needs a better organization when it comes to checking in and out. Also when you go for breakfast, lunch and dinner to the buffets, you have to find a table yourself.if you're traveling with a large group of people I'd advice to go and get a table as early as you can. Rooms are good, mini bar is always full, at least with water. Pools and bar are excellent. Be ready to tip everyone if you want a good attention and attitude since most employees don't pay attention to you, at the buffet you have to ask for spoons and forks. They won't serve water to everyone in the table and won't offer coffee or anything to drink until you ask them for it.

The staff was triendly but they had no sense of urgency for any guest requests. Security is a joke and a point of contact is almost non existent. First room which was an "upgrade: and I paid more for had no door in the shower room and shower itself had half a door. The room was clean but dated. Second room we were moved to was updated but jacuzzi didnt work and the workers assigned to fix were amateurs and seemed to not know what they were doing. They spent almost two hours 'fixing' the jacuzzi (we missed our dinner reservation), only for it to still be broken the rest of our stay. The "updated" room hadthe light switch hanging out of the wall.

the food was really good! but the service at the buffet,at the bars,not that good, their rooms are nice but I experience problems with the hot tub,the air conditioner was poor! , the beach its not clean and not clear at all.
