A simple but very nice place right on the beach. You can literally walk straight from your room into the waves for swimming or snorkeling. The owner (Val) is super friendly and helpful and you can borrow everything you need for snorkeling at the front desk. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 4 night at El Primo, all the rooms have a balcony that faces the beach.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed a lot the food for breakfast which was alternate Egyptian breakfast and eggs omelette with fruit salad.
We had dinner once at the hotel and we were pleasently surprised.
The room was very nice, AC working well, very clean, nice view, also some wire to hang out towels to dry. the shower pressure was not constant but not a big deal.
I will definitely come back to Dahab and I'll definitely come back to El Primo

Perfect quiet location by Eels Garden 5 minutes north of the bay with all the coffee houses and restaurants. It can be windy up there, but balconies are sheltered from neighbouring buildings. Great view, large clean rooms and good hard beds. You sleep well at El Primo. Host arranges pickup at Sharm or Taba.

This is a basic, budget hotel, clean and well-run. It was just right for this short stay where I only wanted to dive then sleep then dive. It would be a bit spartan for a longer stay.
