The hotel was lovely. It's location is a little different as it's on the third story of a mixed use building, but the rooms themselves were modern & comfortable. The linens and staff were all great. We were able to check in early and everything we wanted to do was in walking distance.

I paid for my room online yet when I arrived at 8 pm they told me that no room is available! They suggested I find another hotel while I already PAID for 3 nights at this dirty hotel. I had to wait till after midnight to get a room! The room was dirty and equipment were falling apartment - eventhough the hotel was newly renovated. The breakfast is poor ( only 2 cheese sandwiches).
Not recommended at all.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The building is very old but the hotel itself was renovated few years ago and still looks good. As it is very dusty outside, it was almost impossible to kerp the room clean, but when I complained they did it again and it was ok.
The breakfast is lirtle bit poor with 3 types of cheese and coffee+ 2 pcs of bread.
There's no elevator and the stairs are very high but they were talking about some imaginative elevator that is almost ready, hard to believe!
Being at the heart of Cairo the position is good, but too noisy and very smokey, polluted air. Be careful if you have asthma or allergy.
I won't be staying again in this area because of amoke and noise.
