Club Quarters Hotel, St. Paul's

Great customer service, room, and location. What more can anyone ask for?

The condition of the hotel and the attitude of the staff is poor. I have stayed in this hotel for more than 14 days during covid time and feel comfortable. However, this trip (4 nights) is not pleasant.

When I checked in I was allocated a newly refurbished room which was very nice, although very small. I wasn't advised of any problems at check in. However, at 2am when I woke up and my room was an unbearable 34C I found I was unable to make the aircon system produce cold air. The auto setting seemed only to blast yet more heat out and the only option available is to turn the fan off. The room also has no windows that can open. I therefore had a very uncomfortable night there and virtually no sleep. When I was checking out I mentioned this to reception who told me it was a known problem that the aircon system can only generate heating, that maintenance would take a look. I didn't appreciate that I was knowingly set up for an uncomfortable night and had I been advised of this at check in I would have gone to another hotel. The hotel's exceptionally poor handling of this issue means I will choose to say elsewhere in future.

We've stayed at Club Quarters many times over the years, and the hotel was starting to look a bit tired, but after the recent refurbishment it is now much improved. The rooms are nice and the staff are friendly and helpful.

prime area. walkable to the cathedral , bridge, cafes, giftshops.. easy to call taxi ubers and also hop on hop off stop.

The stay was lovely, breakfast was delicious, room was quite far into the hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful but we had a couple of minor issues with the air-con/heater, when we arrived it was not on and the room was very cold. We later discovered the reason it wasn’t on was the main controller was broken and would not turn off, luckily we found the mains switch and killed it after roasting ourselves 😂 the second issue was the water in the shower took quite a while to get hot, first night it was a cold shower. But overall the hotel was really nice, very tastfully decorated, great food from Cote and I would stay there again because the location and venue are fabulous

Lovely room and helpful staff. Hotel location is very convenient and centrally located for the City. Issue with climate control in the room meant it was a little warm overnight.

I love this chain and have been a regular at St Pauls. However two very expensive watches were stolen from my desk in the locked room - and I only nipped out for a short run - and this utterly ruined the experience, especially as my insurance won't cover the theft because they were not in the safe. A very, very expensive stay at the hote!!!

On arrival we were guided by a member of staff to complete check in online. Apart from helping activate the room key the only other interaction was advising that breakfast was available to book oh and you have to pay a £50 security deposit which is returned when you leave minus any charges to the room. The room itself was very nice, was on the 6th floor and could almost see St Pauls catherdral. The bed was comfortable and the coffee was nice. We were only staying 1 night but we struggled to sleep as the room was blasted with heating, we tried to turn the temperature down but it didn't work. It did eventually go off and the temperature went down a little however through the night is reached 26 degrees!! The shower, when used almost flooded the bathroom the next morning but we were checking out early. On check out we advised about the heat in the room and was told that the heat is controlled centrally and had we contacted reception through the night they would have helped which I did advise had we been told that the panel in the room didn't work then we would have. Have also noticed that this is a common theme in other reviews. I would like to say I would return in the future but the heating issue is enough to pick somewhere else.

Liked how close it was to St. Pauls Cathedral, but the heat was automotic in the room and not always workin meanwhile the hallways felt like a sauna

Clean and quiet..would definitely stay here again..

I love this hotel. It is spacious and clean and in a quiet neighborhood. St Paul’s church is just a few steps away and there are plenty of places to eat. We took the Elizabeth Line from LHR and stopped at Farringdon. It’s a bit of a walk to the Hotel but it’s better than connecting to the Underground lines.

Excellent services ..

Less than a block from St Paul's Cathedral. Easy walk to Tower of London. Very nice buffet breakfast! Great lounge and gym area.

Great hotel and location, nice and comfortable, if noise sensible bell of Saint Paul, could be an issue. Good breakfast and restaurant (Cotè). Desk Staff could use some service improvement.

Great location, convenient to take tubes or buses. We also like the hotel breakfast. The sofa bed for the 3rd person is not comfortable, very soft, no support.

Oh my God, if you enjoy sleeping, avoid this place like the plague!!!!! Zero sound proofing. Listen as people fart two doors away?!? Every door in every room can be heard opening and closing metal on metal throughout the entire floor. Every person coming back from partying can be heard in intricate detail making sleeping impossible for more than five minutes. I did not sleep for five days here and it was the worst experience of my life traveling worldwide.
