A basic room but it was what we needed. The breakfasts were FANTASTIC and the staff were so helpful

We have been to Ambleside many times but this was our first stay here. Lovely B&B in great location in town. Hosts friendly and welcoming. Bedroom small but comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast excellent. Would definitely return.

Went for a weekend break. Checked in early and parking available nearby in the centre of town. Great location for everything. Room and B&B clean. Breakfast great. Cannot fault this place and we will be visiting again....

The property is in an ideal location for access to the town pubs and restaurants in ambleside with free parking close by ,the property is well presented and clean throughout our room was spotless with tea and coffee making facilities, comfortable bed, and tasty varied breakfast we would return with no hesitation well done to the owners megan and john

The B&B was spotlessly clean. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful in recommending nearby walks and even upgrading our room on arrival. We will definitely stay here again when we revisit Ambleside

Great hosts. Well kept property. Beautiful location. Proximity to road means there is a bit of traffic noise but earplugs easily sorted that. Excellent breakfast options. Ask where to park BEFORE arriving as it isn't on the property itself :)

Fantastic bed and breakfast in a great location for everything in Ambleside. The owners and their lovely dog were super friendly and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived to the time we left to come home. The room we had was very comfortable, modern and suited us completely. The town centre is literally 2 minutes walk and the pier to take the boats up and down the lake are about 15 minute walk. If you plan to visit other towns such as Keswick or Kendal catch a bus, it’s £4 for a return to either place and compared to taking your car is a no brainer. We were provided with a free parking permit with the car park literally just around the corner which made a huge difference to our stay. We will go back to Ambleside and we will definitely stay here again. Oh did I say the breakfast food is amazing, cooked fresh to order and a great choice. Well done guys and thank you for looking after us, hopefully see you again next year.

Great. Brilliant brilliant host brilliant breakfast

Megan and John were the perfect hosts and very welcoming. The property is clean, the bed so comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. The most relaxing B&B we’ve stayed in and would highly recommend this to our family and friends.

Stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding nearby. We were met by John, the owner, who was very helpful in suggesting raxi firms to use. We were allocated a a room on the top floor which was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and all freshly cooked. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

We absolutely loved it. The room is a good size, light and comfortable. It has everything we needed and it was clean. Bathroom was nice and clean too. Outstanding service and breakfast. We will come to stay again.

A really comfortable stay and we were made to feel welcome from our arrival. We were looked after and enjoyed our time here. The dog was an excellent host!
