Absolutely fantastic experience staying at the Marriott in Bristol this weekend. Staff extremely helpful, from the security door staff who kindly helped with the large amounts of luggage I had with me, the reception staff, the restaurant staff and all the cleaning staff. Property is very clean, modern and well maintained. Bedrooms are spacious, clean, and looks like they have been renovated very recently. Massive TV in the bedroom, and extremely comfy beds. Decent breakfast, open until 11am as well, very useful after a late night. Parking is next door in the NCP car park - don't pay the advertised rates in the car park, just get your ticket validated by reception staff every time you need to leave the car park and it's only £17.00 per day, rather than then £100s you would pay otherwise. Would absolutely recommend, a great place to stay if visiting friends, attending an event or just visiting the city.

Enjoyed our stay here. Room was nice and good spread for breakfast. Enjoyed the gym facilities as well and they have a table tennis table outside too on the roof terrace.

The hotel was in a good central location. Even tho 3 lifts..1 was not working and other lifts always too busy. No proper lights working in the lifts and they have temporary lights. The family room was a good size but the bathroom was far too small. No cupboard or drawers in bedroom which would have been nice. More lighting is needed in the bedroom. The hotel needs to be updated. Didn't use the restaurant or terrace area so can not comment. We did ask about details of breakfast upon check in but apart from the rate the staff didn't know much about breakfast in room. It was an okay stay but I won't be returning here.

Very spacious rooms: Nest & clean. Very good Breakfast. Room amenities were pretty good too. However, A/C filters weren’t clean upon our arrival. Similarly, bathroom door’s lock wasn’t working. But overall a good place to stay in Bristol city centre.

My booking was accepted about 9pm but when I arrived about 12.30am I was told the had cancelled my room and given it to someone else And then I had to apply for a Refund to Hotels.Com This is crazy

The hotel was a quick walk to Bristol Temple-Meads train station which we used a lot during our stay. The room was clean & comfortable & the nespresso machine was a bonus.
