We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in May but not this time - We were given a room that hadn't been signed off by housekeeping and was dirty - Housekeeping asked us to go to reception and change to another room - It wasn't a problem for us but it was clearly a problem for the receptionist who was rude and didn't even apologise to us - We got another room but there was no bottled water in the room - We had this when we stayed in May so I checked our booking for this time and it was in the booking confirmation so on our way out I asked the same receptionist if we could have 2 bottles of water - Well - You would have thought that we had asked for a million pounds! - Rude and disrespectful is putting it mildly - She said no and even when I showed her our booking confirmation that said it was provided she wasn't having any of it - I said if she needed to check with a Manager then we would get it when we came back later - She was still being rude but by this time we were running late - When we got back later I said to her if I could just grab the water - Well - Here we go again! - She said that we couldn't have any even though it was in black and white on my booking confirmation - She made me show her the confirmation again and I even went on the website to show her that if I booked a room that second they were still offering bottled water in the room - All this over some water - You couldn't make it up! - It turns out that she is new and on probation - Unlikely we will stay ag

Quality hotel close to the town centre, easy walk into the centre for evening meal. Parking available in a public car park across the road at a reduced fee (£5.00/night). Our room was clean, quiet & comfortable. Good to have air-con during the heatwave. Reception staff were helpful & efficient. Breakfast was ample, although some items of food not refreshed, and crockery/cutlery not replaced quickly.

This is the second time we have stayed here, in two months. Once again, we cannot praise the whole experience any higher than absolutely excellent. The location for all amenities, the staff for their help in making our stay wonderful. The hotel itself, including the rooms, are to the highest standard and cleanliness. The food is also excellent, lovely choice of breakfasts.

The hotel is a short walk from the Rochdale Centre tram stop and there are many restaurants in the area. The breakfast spread is quite good.

Hampton by Hilton Rochdale. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard. The rooms were comfortable, modern, and well maintained, making for a very relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rochdale and would definitely stay here again.

Obviously a brand new hotel but never the less a well thought out design for comfort and space. Location spot on . Value for money , price very reasonable. The food at breakfast was mainly fresh from the farm ( no preservatives here ) ! Delicious !! We will stay again on future visits to my home town .

Really clean modern hotel right next to a multi-storey car park that only costs £5 for 24 hours. The rooms are great with a very comfortable bed and great bathroom.

This was our first visit to the hotel. From the moment we checked in, we found the staff extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel its self, is extremely clean, beautiful clean spacious room, very comfortable bed,and the food excellent. We will certainly be returning in the near future. The staff treated every guest, as if they were the only guests. A truly pleasurable stay. Thank you.
