Lovely clean hotel in the centre of Leeds close to just about everything, hotel staff were really helpful and friendly. A quieter bar area would have been nice for the family as this was adjoined to the main Gino d’campo restaurant which was really busy - the added extra ‘executive lounge’ would have been nice but not worth the additional cost. Family room very spacious with two double beds great size for our family of 4. Impressed Good to know you can park outside for drop off purposes / to check in and get 20mins (would have nice to know this in advance as it was quite stressful when busy) parking is half price at Trinty around the corner (£18.50 per night) which is really difficult to manoeuvre into and around so be careful. We used Qpark at Albion street for the first night as unaware the hotel had this partnership and replied to my query too late. Staff very helpful on reception though. Breakfast was superb, honestly the best I’ve had in many hotels, not huge variety but everything g perfectly cooked. Would stay here again

We upgraded to a suite which we feel was well worth the additional cost as well as having access to the Executive lounge. We will return!

The staff made this stay exceptional. Everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, Check-in was smooth, and throughout our stay the team was professional, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of. The location was another highlight. It’s in a great spot with easy access to the city centre, shops, restaurants, and public transport, making it convenient to explore Leeds on foot. It’s an excellent base. Close to the train station.I’d definitely stay here again.

Our stay was extremely disappointing and far below the standard we expect from Marriott. I feel compelled to warn others, especially if you're expecting a comfortable night's sleep. Our visit coincided with a town parade, making access difficult due to multiple road closures. While this wasn't the hotel's fault, they did well by sending an email ahead to suggest where to park. Check-in was smooth, and the reception staff were polite and helpful, but we were surprised by a £50 deposit that wasn't clearly highlighted during booking. The problems continued in our room. The TV didn't work, and there wasn't even a remote control. We had to contact reception twice before it was resolved. Although the staff responded promptly, these basic checks should have been completed before our arrival. The biggest issue was the air conditioning, which simply didn't work. Despite setting it to 18°C, the room remained unbearably hot. Opening the window wasn't an option because of loud music outside the hotel that continued late into the night. None of us slept properly. My son spent the night tossing and turning, and we all woke up exhausted. A hotel's most basic responsibility is to provide a comfortable place to sleep, and this hotel failed completely. Breakfast was average, with nothing that made up for the terrible night we'd had. If you're staying here during warm weather or busy town events, think twice, you could end up paying for a sleepless, uncomfortable night.

Great location which is why we keep coming back. Communal areas have been modernised and the executive lounge is decent with some nice touches of snacks and alcohol at certain times. We often stay in the junior suite which is really spacious but the bathroom is dated and in a four star suite should have a walk in shower rather than shower over the bath. If that were to get upgraded along with some of the furniture in the room it would be perfect. Good to have Gino’s restaurant attached, always decent food and good cocktails.
