Leonardo Hotel London Croydon

Clean hotel room in a convenient location in Croydon. Hotel breakfast is good, but if you want something different, they are not too far. 3 Starbucks within 5 minutes. The lack of a car park is the only downside and Ruskin square car park is £17.50 a day, but looks more secure than the cheaper Whitgift carpark. Hotel staff was helpful to print out things that I needed as well. Wonderful hotel I would say. Very comfortable.

I was allocated a room that had a door (locked) through into the next room. This wasn't made clear at booking or check in. This meant I could hear every conversation in the adjoining room, which meant that they could here mine. The door was just a standard internal door. I stayed for 3 nights and the last night I get very little sleep after being woken up by excessive noise 11pm coming through the door. It sounded like a lot of young people with one in particular liking the sound of their own voice. I had to call reception twice and although they dealt with it brilliantly, I struggled to get back off and then had to get up at 6am, do a days work in the heat and then drive 5 hours home to Somerset. Furthermore, what's the point in a high security hotel room door with key card entry when the internal joining door is just a standard door with no extra security. The room situation spoiled my entire stay. The rest of th4 hotel is nice and the food in particular was amazing. The food, bar, reception are all in one area and when busy in very small and cramped, especially at breakfast times. Queuing for toast, coffee and food when you are restricted for time isn't ideal.

Lovely hotel - comfy bed and clean room. Even provided a welcome note with water & biscuits. Good location only 5 minutes walk from East Croydon and box park

Hotel has A/C, clean bathroom, hard mattresses, and close by to the train station.

WE CHANGE ROOMS 3 TIMES BECAUSE THE AC DIDNT WORK

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Bar reasonably priced and the food was great too.

Very good tidy room very comfortable

The hotel was good in general. My problem was with the bathroom . The tub is so slippery and was basically a hazard to use . As well as, there was no cupboard or shelf space for guests to put their belongings.

The Leonardo Hotel works perfectly for us. It it close to the ThamesLink trains so easy to get to from London and we take the bus to Surrey to visit family. The staff are super helpful and do their best to accommodate guests. Even when there are large groups checking in, they make sure everyone is looked after. We also had a nice dinner in the restaurant. It was a bit hot during the heatwave so we opted to dine in the restaurant. There is a Coop grocers a block away that is convenient to grab snacks, drinks, etc.

We always opt to skip housekeeping on short stays but the lovely ladies made sure water and biscuits were replenished every day

This hotel is well placed if you need access to central London. It is a very short walk to East Croydon station, which has direct and frequent train services to both London Bridge and Victoria where one can reach anywhere in the City. The hotel itself is modern and has excellent facilities and staff

I really enjoyed my night there. My room was big and comfy and I had everything I needed. Great location and parking is just round the corner

This was the best hotel stay I’ve ever had in the UK or even anywhere else.
