Moxy Bristol

Rooms clean & comfort Basic information was not given on arrival. didn’t tell us about complimentary cocktail., breakfast times or check out times. I only knew these has I had stopped at the moxy York many times. The first morning very poor breakfast Running out of items not filling these items back up for ages. Second morning greatly improved, we took friends with us as enjoy the moxy York so much but was disappointed with the moxy Bristol for the above reasons.

The staff are consistently amazing. The rooms and communal spaces are so comfortable and inviting. I love this hotel! My only feedback is that although the breakfast area looks lovely in terms of how the food is presented, some of the hot food was cold and not actually very nice. The eggs were very cold and rubbery ( scrambled) and the pain au chocolat and other pastries were chewy and stale. Slightly disappointing because it’s layout is very appealing. But I want that to be received positively because I do love this hotel and can’t really fault it

Modern and trendy hotel

Great stay

Room was lovely and clean and the facilities are great (fitness room, breakfast, bar etc) Have stayed before and will definitely stay again!

The room was immaculate, as was the bathroom. Bed was comfy and the room was quiet, which was really surprising because the road outside was very busy. I couldn't get the aircon to adjust, and I would have loved some proper coffee bags in the room instead of nescafe, but otherwise everything was excellent and I would definitely stay again.

Fantastic front of house, Chris. Great welcome there was an issue with our family room but we were given 2 rooms on the same floor at no extra charge. The whole team were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Excellent hotel, stayed in some other Moxy hotels before, this was by far the best customer experience.

The room felt more spacious than I thought, thanks to the clever use of the space. The bed and the bedside corner seat were very comfortable, and the space under the seat was just nice to store a suitcase.

Absolutely fantastic. From check in to check out . Rooms are amazing and decorated so different to other hotels . I would strongly recommend this hotel .

A short one night stay where we were out all day. But a great modern, trendy hotel on the edge of the city centre with a great room and good shower. Very modern and attractive public areas. Discounted parking just across the road

On arrival I was asked for my ID or credit card in the name I booked under. I purposely didn't bring any as I was in Bristol and there are certain cities I don't bring ID to - Bristol is one. I paid in advance to avoid needing to bring ID or the credit card. I had my booking number and email confirmation. I was told when checking in I needed evidence of my ID. On my Expedia booking it used the words 'may need ID', not that it was mandatory. I was eventually able to check in after logging into my personal bank account to validate my name. Not the best start after a 5 hr trip to get here. The room itself was great. I cannot fault it in any way. Spacious, clean, aie con, amenities were great. The location is ok. As a lone female, I didn't feel I was in the safest part of the city. I probably wouldn't stay here again for that reason.
