Very busy pub with rooms. Have stayed here before but food not as good this time. Very strange dinner menu choices. Waited half an hour for our order to be taken. Food not very good. No check back by staff either. At breakfast food very poor. My scrambled egg not very hot and not much of it either. Served on top of a slice of toast with a pat of butter at the side . No cereals or pastries or even toast and jam. Won’t be using this place again

Good stay, but no wardrobe in room 3 despite being a more expensive room than the standard room offered, clothes had to be hung on the back of the door. Not the best breakfast experience, only one dish and everything else is a paid extra. Not asking for the world but I've never had a "tighter" feeling breakfast where it felt like they didn't really want to have to do it. Staff didn't feel the friendliest at times.

Lovely place with really helpful staff and good food. We stayed ofernight to meet friends and celebrate a birthday. Dinner was excellent and reasonably priced and breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. There is a good choice of food on the dinner menu. The rooms were good for the price and breakfast was included. There is a nice deating area in the bar and a separate dining area and a small but pleasant garden at the front with tables etc. Plenty of free parking on site. A great place to meet up and we will be returning in the future.

A lovely night stay - I was impressed with the spacious room I was allocated and the quality of the furniture and fittings. The room was lovely and warm. Breakfast menu was fantastic and a very good choice of items provided. The only downside was trying to find it as the postcode took me to a housing estate and I got very lost!

Both outside and inside decor were gorgeous. Our gps took us a weird way and we werent thrilled with the residential location until we turned the corner and saw the building; it is a perfect little countryside inn. We has delicious food, great service, and a comfortable stay. The man who checked us in was especially helpful, and the dinner and breakfast service were great too. Overall a wonderful stay for any price, but it was also really good value.

The building is very welcoming as you drive into the carpark. Staff were very friendly and food was delicious. Unfortunately, although the room was very spacious and the decor was tastefull, the bed was very uncomfortable and meant we both didn't sleep well.

Everything was good apart from trying to find the inn on arrival. We were informed that Bower Lane was closed and spent 30 minutes driving around the local housing estates! Breakfast service was very slow, but found out the pilot light in the kitchen had gone out. Room was great.
