A pleasant stay , however we don’t really enjoy gastro type food so the meals weren’t for us , others really enjoyed the meals so just a matter of taste

Stayed in the Stag room. Was beautifully decorated, big room and en suites. Absolutely massive bed and really comfortable. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We also had dinner in the restaurant and the food is amazing! Would highly recommend, really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated if a little small and without the minibar fridge that is mentioned in room facilities. Also very noisy street outside so ask for a rear facing room. Whilst the food is delicious, £28.50 for one filet of pan fried bream served without any significant vegetables is not good value for money especially when a very small portion of chips cost £5.95! The overall attitude of the waiting staff both at dinner and breakfast was at best indifferent! Sadly other than the lady who checked us in, it seems nobody else had the ability to smile or display any welcoming traits!

Lovely room, excellent food. However they supply earplugs for a reason. If you are a light sleeper you may suffer from the music from the nearby night club or the revellers in the street. Everything else is excellent.

This is a fantastic place to stay, right in the town. There is parking on site which is very handy. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The food is simply amazing. We will definitely be back.

Amazing food and first class service

Very nice staff at the bar and housecleaning. Hotel very clean and well presented. Bed was very hard and the room was over the kitchen air vent so had smells of cooking if you opened the window. Food is very expensive and not competitive with surrounding establishments.

A pub with rooms does NOT cover the Cornish Arms - it is very friendly, good atmosphere and location, but the rooms are spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very good value for money. Great facilities, great food, great staff. We will certainly stay here again!

Excellent service by all the staff who were all very pleasant and friendly. Beautiful Suite (Stag) spotlessly clean. Lovely food. Will definitely be going back as we could not fault this break away.

Incredible place. The food is unbelievable. The service is the same. My room was slightly on the smaller side but it was furnished beautifully and it was completely spotless. I was in the area for work but I would take a holiday to tavistock just to stay and eat here. Incredible

The parking is reserved for guests behind the pub and easy to access. The room we stayed in was very well decorated and clean, the bed was huge, and all the staff were super friendly. Also, the included breakfast was very well presented and great! I came down to visit some friends. Safe to say, I’ll be booking the Cornish arms for every visit.

We stayed for one night in the Mallard junior suite with beautiful William Holland roll top copper bath. We found the room really comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We booked dinner in the resturant and were both really impressed with the food in the evening and at breakfast too. We highly recommend staying and will be returning!
