Stayed here for one night to enjoy the Cotswolds and The Lansdowne was excellent. We stayed in Room 15 which was essentially on the ground floor, so was great not to take bags upstairs. Location to the main attractions and facilities in the town was great. The included breakfast was delicious, and the on-site parking a bonus. Would highly recommend this lovely establishment

Hotter in the rooms at the top but we had a fan so it was bearable. Thank you for a lovely stay. Breakfast was amazing.

A lovely Cotswolds setting, let down by a few practical shortcomings The location is excellent and made for a wonderful base to explore the area. The room was tastefully decorated and always clean and tidy on our return. However, a few things fell short. We'd requested a lower-floor room in advance, as I was travelling with an elderly companion, but were placed on the third floor with no lift. A couple of follow-up emails sent before arrival also went unanswered. Breakfast felt limited for a three-night stay: individually packaged butter and jam, coffee or tea, a small pastry selection, bread, bananas, and yoghurts (Greek yoghurt came pre-mixed with granola; requesting it plain took around 20 minutes). Given the hotel's Cotswolds setting, some locally sourced butter or preserves would have been a lovely touch. The fruit salad's apples had oxidised, seemingly prepared without lemon. Cooked options were nicely presented but quite small. Our third-floor room had no fridge, unfortunate given the warm weather. Wi-Fi, despite routers on each floor, was disappointingly weak. Staff were consistently warm and helpful, though it was clear some decisions, like room reassignment, needed management approval that wasn't forthcoming. The bathtubs, though attractive, were rather high-sided. Overall, a charming hotel with a superb location, but one that could benefit from a touch more flexibility and attention to detail.

Cute guesthouse convenient to Bourton-on-the-Water village. We were given Room 14, which was large and had a very spacious bathroom -- the largest by about 4X of any place we stayed in for the whole trip (5 hotels in different cities). The lodging includes breakfast, which was a full English breakfast if you wished ... not merely fruit, yogurt, cereal and pastries (although they had those as well). It's an easy walk into the town, and we took advantage of the walking footpaths close by as well. The staff were quite friendly and nice. They left complimentary chips and sodas in our room, which was a lovely addition. (We also had beers in our fridge, but they kindly swapped them for sodas when we asked.)

Corinne was such a great help (and insanely strong hauling our suitcase up 2 flights of stairs). She gave us helpful recommendations and we got a 10% discount at a local restaurant for staying there. Breakfast was delicious and the room was comfy and clean. We would definitely stay again.

The staff was absolutely amazing. When I was lost at midnight, I called Corinne and she talked me through step by step directions. The breakfast staff was absolutely incredible:friendly, fun, and super helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the porridge was the best I’ve ever had. If I could improve one thing, it would be that our bed was very hard, but that could be easily remedied with a pillow top mattress pad. This hotel was perfect for a stay in the Cotswolds!
