The Queens Head

The staff were very friendly and helpful, however the 1st room given was right next to the beer garden which meant it was very noisy then we we're upgraded to a family room, much more space but directly above the kitchen so extremely noisy until late. The beds were very uncomfortable and the quilts feather which was not good for my allergies, all in all quite a uncomfortable but friendly stay

We didn't stay long, as it was an overnight stay on a longer trip. But they were friendly, the room was perfect, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Great value for money, lovely room :)

A very enjoyable stay. Room was basic but clean. We were given a very warm welcome by Jason who showed us to our room. The Thai restaurant which is located at the Pub/Hotel served an absolutely delicious 5* meal and is a must if you’re planning on staying here. The location is perfect for a hiking or cycling getaway break.

I never slept all night, ive been as cold in a hotel room it was bitter, heating goes of a 11 pm and comes back on at 7-30 am i will not stay hear again !!!

Food was great staff in restaurant were really friendly and an helpful.

Disliked the way other people parked their cars taking Three spaces for Two cars so nobody else could park

Lovely accommodation behind pub in wonderful village near Oxford.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub is very nice, in a lovely little village. We ate dinner in the pub and the Thai food is really excellent. Room was small, but makes good use of the available space and has everything you need. Nice touch to leave fresh fruit, croissant and instant porridge so you can make your own breakfast in the room (although we didn't). Excellent value for money. The only minor negative was that the wifi signal in room 3 was very weak and patchy, which also affected the TV reception. Overall, a great place that we have already recommended to friends

Excellant value friendly landlord

Bit off beaten track nothing but small village around, attached to the pub serving thai food and small british food selection, which was very tasty. Good for quiet country walk iafter. Small outside bed room, very hot inside on the sunny day I was there, would be unbearable without tall standing fan provided. Noise from inside pub seemed amplified and loud as right next to one of entrance doors but it ended at 11pm. Fruit and pastry provided for breakfast next day and beds comfy. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Parking - small amount and limited when pub open but can park on road outside. Would stay here again as good value and not far from Oxford, waterperry gardens and M40.

Great staff and good food. Room was comfortable and bathroom was big and very usable.

Wonderful country pub in lovely village very convenient for Oxford

A comfortable nights sleep topped only by such amazing cuisine, the food was out of this world! Even the locals were coming in for takeout! Highly recommended!

Very nice people the owner Jason is one of the true inn keepers you’ve seen in movies and the entire staff will go above and beyond to help in any way. We were there just one night as a side trip and it has been the highlight of the trip. Pub is great with lots of locals, the rooms are not 5 star but are clean and comfortable with everything you really need, my teen son said this room is “cool”. I will definitely keep on my list for a return. Jason and Louie are the best Cheers!

Really helpful staff, comfy room and amazing food.

Really nice pub. We had food in the Thai restaurant and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room comfy and clean.
