This was a beautiful period property decorated in a modern style. The furniture was lovely and the bed comfy. The shower was more than adequate and the fridge and hot drink making facilities were appreciated. Very clean. Gorgeous location overlooking the loch. Cafes serving breakfast were very close and the town was full of pubs and restaurants. We loved our stay here!

A lovely small cottage room (only 4 in premises). I had Room 3 which was clean and functioning. A tower fan fought against 32 degree heat and failed. You could not open a window and thus we cooked in the room. However normally this would be a great stay as the castle is a minute away and the town centre very close. Despite the heat would recommend

The room was comfortable, clean and quiet which is all I can ask for when working away from home.
The location was lovely, close to the river and the castle and yet conveniently situated for shops, restaurants, public transport and the beautiful market square in Newark. I would go back

The room I stayed in was a dream! The design is impeccable, and the tub was amazing! I was a 10 minute walk from almost everything, and 20 minutes to the train station.
