We had a beautiful one night stay at the Ship for a special birthday celebration. The staff were extremely hard working and whilst busy they still remained professional and kind. The room was stunning with a beautiful view of the conservation beach outside. The bed was huge and really comfortable! We had the best nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. Wonderful place to stay.

I really liked this place, room was great, good parking, staff were excellent and my meal in the evening was really good with a nice wine list. However what let it down was the final hurdle, the breakfast. I ordered the full english but unfortunately my sausage was cold, bacon way over cooked (probably been cooked a while earlier) and the black pudding was just terrible. This was a disappointing end to what was a great stay. I will definately be back again and would encourage others to stay here, but next time I might just get room only.

A lovely hotel in an excellent location overlooking the Dee estuary. This is the second time we've stayed here and we'll certainly do it again.

Great food and stunning views

The Ship was a great place to stay in a superb location. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing!

The breakfasts were a bit disappointing....bacon, hash brown and tomatoes were very overcooked and dried out.

Really nice but disappointing that the breakfast was luke warm

Excellent stay at this little hotel, stayed in a double room in the cottage and was not disappointed . The room was spacious clean and modern. Food I. The restaurant was excellent too. Will be back for sure

I've now stayed 80 nights at the Ship in the last 18 months. Always great service, great food, exceptional range of beers and wines, nice atmosphere and lovely location overlooking the Dee estuary.

Wonderfully supplied room, very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast and dinner was spectacular, very tasty and for dinner there was a smaller portion option which was perfect for me! My only niggle was the staff were not very friendly or welcoming. However, I had little contact with them so I would definitely stay again. Location was excellent, beautiful views.
