My bedside light wasn't working, so I made staff know.
I have been there before ,it's very handy for train station which is why I visit Crewe.

Handy hotel very close to Crewe station. If you need a night in the area this hotel is ideal. Good parking outside the hotel, plus the immediate area is quiet. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. I would use this hotel again if I need to stay a night in the area.

The whole experience from sign in to leaving was first rate. All members of staff from reception to breakfast service couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Definitely a hotel to return to when in the area.

The building itself seems old and is full of characters. Room doors are still open using old fashioned key, tiny tv screen like the old days.
As I was only staying for 2 nights, there isn't a need for my room to be freshen up, though there isn't anywhere outside the door where you can hang the 'do not disturb' sign.
The shower was a bit too tiny with the switch that switch outwards, you can easily switch off the shower by turning or turn up/down the heat.

The whole place is past its sell by date no evening meals breakfast ok didn’t help that there was a private function in the dining room on the Saturday with a noisy group up to midnight (we should have been told about this when we booked)despite been in as paying guests was told if we wanted to go to this function we should pay tan pounds each which we declined sorry next time it’s back to premier in much comfier
