As I was preparing to depart Addis, a member of their staff was waiting at the airport for me hours after I checked out of the hotel. She allegedly ‘forgot’ to charge me for something and did not want to get into trouble. This was shocking to me because as I was checking out with her, I specifically asked her if we were all set, to which she replied “yes, you are good to go”. Further, she got airport staff involved as well. With the language barrier that existed with her, it was hard for me to fully understand how this happened. She was instant that I pay the money for the forgotten charge so she would not get in trouble, nearly causing me to miss my flight. She also had someone on a call on her cell phone during. She finally asked if I had cash (USD) and fortunately I did, but it just felt wrong and sketchy for me to pay in this manner, under these circumstances. Nonetheless I paid her as she was beginning to make a scene at the airport entrance. After I paid her (in the presence of the truly friendly Bole airport staff) she then tried to give me some of the cash back and said she’d cover the difference since it was her fault. I denied her request to give me money back as I just wanted this interaction to be over. Having this kind of interaction while abroad (with the language barrier) made me so nervous and uncomfortable. This was a very poor way to handle this, Daamat. Because of this, I cannot say I will ever stay at your property again, nor can I recommend it to others.

The staff were attentive, accommodating, kind and so helpful. They were the best part of our stay. Facilities are clean, and modern.

I initially booked this hotel because it was close to the area I am familiar with. I didnot have prior knowledge about it. But this is an excellent hotel situated in an ideal site and close to the airport. The room I was given first was spacious, clean and quite even if it is in the center of the busy city. The best part, however, is the food. Among all the hotels I visited in Addis Ababa, Daamat provides the best omlet. I was also very pleased by the generousity of the manager to upgrade me to a junior suite for some minor miscommunication issue. The staffa are helpful and were very kind to keep in their freezer an item that needed to remain frozen (the refrigirator in the room was small in size to accomodate the item). The junior suite is very comfortable and spacious with three separate rooms. I defintely will stay here next time I return to Addis Ababa.

위치는 나쁘지않으나 매일 수건을 한개만 셋팅하는게 이해가 되지않음. 클럽이랑 너무 가까워서 소음이 밤샘들림.

Eu lamento muito ter que fazer uma avaliação ruim mas preciso ser honesto. As pessoas do hotel, o gerente, os atendentes, o pessoal da cozinha merecem Que eu diga que eles Foram a única coisa Que posso mencionar de muito boa sobre minha estadia. Faltou energia durante Pelo menos 80% do tempo que eu passei por lá, eu via o esforço e o constrangimento dos funcionários por esse motivo mas atrapalhou muito minha estadia . Sem energia eu não tinha conexão com internet e não podia me localizar na cidade, a água não funcionava porque faltava energia. A princípio o quarto parecia bem limpo mas com o tempo alguns insetos Indesejados foram Vistos dentro do quarto Por algumas vezes . Infelizmente foi uma experiência ruim

Great value for the money. Nice location; close to many things but away from the worst noice. Clean, friendly hotel with nice rooms and shower. Sometimes the service was a bit slow in the restaurants, and the room lacked A/C or even a fan. We will be back!

Sono un viaggiatore abituale per lavoro e non so dove siano stati i viaggiatori delle altre recensioni ma di certo ho trovato tutt'altro. La camera era grande ma con un odore di fognatura che arrivava dal bagno che non si poteva resistere. I divani tutti macchiati. Le finestre non si chiudevano bene ed essendo una zona molto trafficata, il rumore, soprattutto notturno, era intenso e fastidioso La pulizia lasciava a desiderare soprattutto in bagno. L'elettricità saltava continuamente. L'dore intenso di cibo era in tutta la struttura. La colazione gradevole ma il minimo da 4 stelle, peccato poi che l'inserviente sparisse per delle mezz'ore e dovevi rubare zucchero ad altri tavoli chiedendo scusa ai commensali... Dulcis in fondo ho dovuto disdire la camera in anticipo (3 gg prima) per un imprevisto sul lavoro e mi hanno fatto pagare pure la penale.... completa...
