Family of 5 with 2 rooms, stayed for almost 3 weeks. Enjoyed our stay, loved the breakfast everyday, wonderful staff. Rooms need updating with mobile charging ports and AC. Recommend Hotel to close all exterior doors at midnight instead of leaving it wide open all night, this will avoid pests and bugs in rooms. Thank you for the hospitality and will definitely come back.

We chose Tanoa Wwaterfront because of it’s proximity to the Markets and Bus Station, but weren’t disappointed by the hotel itself: it seemed mostly for business travellers but suited us well, even though other people were up and about (& making noise) before we were. Food in restaurant & bar were good and the gardens and aspect to the sea were lovely. They have water bottle free refills. We’d stay here again

The staff , breakfast service the cleaners of the room was very good we very much appreciated all above . We are vegetarian and they even had provisions for us as well by providing Indian vegetarian dishes. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend for others as well. We checked out 5am this morning they even had packed breakfast for us on requeste. Also I would like to suggest to the management that they should periodically get the property treated with pest control as well. Thanks kindly Dewash

Staff were very nice! Breakfast was excellent. It’s a nice hotel for layovers or if you have a car and planning to explore other parts of the island. This would not be a place to stay if you’re looking for a beach resort feel.

I am a frequent traveller and had book executive rooms for 11 nights. rooms are not maintained. Had cockroaches in our room. We were then shifted to another room at 11.30pm at night where the bed had a leg missing. Our two nights was ruined as the kids got scared and couldn’t sleep well. Then we had noises from next door room and we could hear they speak. No privacy at all.

Room ac was working but not really cooling the room and everytime the upper unit used their bathroo. It was heard loudly. If these can be addressed it would be a good stay. Modern clean well located

Clean and spacious room with comfortable bed and pillows. Nice staff. Beautiful, immaculately kept grounds and lovely pool area. The room we had was the noisiest we’ve had that was not caused by humans. When other people showered or flushed we heard water flowing through the drainage. There was some noise from the refrigerator and from some other mechanical thing outside the room. Oddly enough, though a little annoying, the noise was not obnoxious enough to be a deal breaker. Also, there was only one person checking people in at check in time and there was a line. Finally, someone came to assist. The Fins restaurant had some good offerings, like the Tanoa Sizzlin’ and burger; but the club sandwich and breakfast buffet were not impressive. I’d probably stay there again for the positives and location is good. As a side note, they sell(for a minimal price) Euro to Fiji adaptors.

The room was not equipped either proper av, malfunctioned and broken ac, little German cockroaches on the floor. There was no body wash in the refill container - not impressed at all this time, asked to be changed but thru didn’t and were slow in responding.
