Hotel Aquarius

Large, quiet property. Comfy beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Had a reservation but arrived after reception had closed; check in via phone and access to my room went very smoothly.

Unfortunately location is the only positive that I can think of the hotel. We visited during the peak season when the hotel was full, hence the annoyances we experienced can’t be explained by operating the hotel with a skeleton crew. Most of these look like a management issues to me, not due to staff. The room was a bit shabby, yet fine, but immediately by the entrance and inside the room, we discovered a noticeable amount of sand and then some mosquitos squashed against the wall. (Mosquitos are expected even in urban areas, but not cleaning out the remain is not). This made us obviously think, what else has not been cleaned? Luckily, everything else of the room was acceptable, yet non-existing A/C during the summer heat was also a bit of a disappointment. The breakfast was fairly simple and fully what we expected, but since we enjoyed it a bit after the rush hour, there was no plates, no glasses while some of the dishes had ran out, whilst the only staff member we saw appeared as extremely busy. As an icing on the cake, elevators don’t operate after 10pm, because there is no 24h staff at the lobby which is also a bar area. This was not a problem for us in a four flight building. Regardless, if you can’t take the stairs, make sure your room is in ground floor. Nothing was really extremely troublesome, yet I would expect the level of quality and service Aquarius offers from a budget hotel, but at its price point, Aquarius is simply not good value for money.

My family and I spent the Midsummer holiday in Uusikaupunki. Hotel Aquarius was very nice and conveniently located for visiting other small towns in western Finland. We enjoyed the pool table and bowling alley in the hotel. The rooms were basic but very clean. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The only problem we had was with the hotel's key cards. Every one of them stopped working at some time during our three-day stay. The front desk was good at replacing them, so it was only a little inconvenient.

Duin covid period the hotels was almost empty. Bur I have received all instructions regarding check - in . The breakfast was in the box, no in restaurant, fully understandable. I prefer this hotel , because of perfect location.

Expensive for what it was. Average room and all a bit dated. Restaurant average and a bit of a walk into the town. All in all, comfortable and clean but not memorable except for the Autumnal trees

Ystävällinen henkilökunta ja kiva aamiainen. Vähän kulahtanut hotelli, mutta omalla tavallaan tunnelmallinen.

Located in a nice position, 10 min walk to town, there's a few bars along the river/marina, hotel has a bowling alley and next door a nightclub, didn't eat in the hotel but was a pleasant 2 day stay and would stay again.

Beautiful view, peaceful, and with an excellent breakfast. Not cheap, but Uusikaupunki is worth a visit, so I could recommend the stay at Hotel Aquarius

Comfortable room, friendly, amenable staff. Breakfast was enjoyable. Would have liked to be able to get to room earlier. Local area is picturesque with harbour side restaurants and an interesting old church.

been ther three times now the staff are always friendly and happy to help even with the language barrier. the rooms are clean the the hotel is great for short stays. within walking distance to all the local areas within the small town.

Huone oli hieno

Sängyt hyvät ja huone pääosin siisti. Isot pölypallerot leijaili kaapinpäältä kun kaapinovea aukoi ja sulki. Ilmastointi puuttuu mutta onneksi edes tuuletin löytyi kaapista kuumuutta helpottamaan. Hyvät saunatilat hotellilla ja poreallas. Aamiainen hyvä ja riittävä.

Siis kiva perushotelli. Hyvä parkkipaikka autolle ja lyhyt matka kävellä rantakadulle. Huoneessa ei ollut mahdollisuutta vaikuttaa ilmastointiin ja helteen takiaan huoneessa oli kuuma. Ei muuta negatiivista. Todella siisti huone.
