Was great

The hotel is out of the city but right off the highway. I liked the hotel. May not be good for a family but ot worked kust fine for me.

Good breakfast, and the staff attention!

Minimalist . No fridge, no microwave, no coffee machine in the room. Felt like in a student room on a campus. Felt unsafe. Area is scary. After business hours you have to walk all around the dealer store from the bus station in the dark.

Clean hotel. Although the shower was terrible. Very easy to get into the centre via the tram.

Lacks simple services like an electric kettle, tea/coffee in room

Good budget hotel. Breakfast buffet was okay, staff helpful, car parking free, convenient to public transport.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cette hôtel. Nous étions dans la chambre 330. Dans l'ensemble, cette hôtel ainsi que l'ensemble du personnel est agréable. Cependant, deux points negatifs, le premier était le non fonctionnement de la climatisation ( il faisait 27° dans la chambre) ainsi que la propreté du matelas. En effet, dans la chambre 330, nous avons remarqué que sous le drap, il y avait de nombreux cheveux et de la saleté non identifié.

The hotel is situated between car sales companies, in the restaurant you have the feeling eating at a parking place, view on parked cars. Also I think there is only one person at the reception (economical reasons?) so to go up to the reception you have cameras, doors and to put you access code everywhere, it gave me a prison feeling.

Very basic facilities but clean. Rooms not very large and with no character. Ensuite and shower good.

Excellent location for Lyon rugby ground, only 5 minutes walk, about 3.5 miles from Lyon centre but only 5 mins to bus stop for old town centre and 15 mins for tram to part dieu rail station. Hotel is in an industrial location so really no local bars or restaurants nearby. Hotel Breakfast was decent for the cost, beds very comfortable, clean rooms but compact, okay for a couple of nights. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Lyon area between the two rivers and cathedral area worth a visit, a mixture of history and modern shopping. If visiting on a certain weekend in December, Festival of Lights well worth a visit (only on a few nights), although it is extremely busy and hotel prices rise quite a bit for this particular weekend.

A good place to get your head down, not a base for a holiday

The hotel is not actually in Lyon, it is in a suburb called Venissieux, 5.7km from Gare Part Dieu and situated in a low class residential area near to a busy main road. So, good if you just need a place to stay overnight. When we booked, choice was limited as it was during Euro 2016 and this was the most affordable hotel closest top Lyon. Good points are that there is limited free parking out front and a 10-minute walk to a tram stop and a bus stop. The neighbourhood looks uninviting, but we encountered no problems. The hotel and rooms are up to regular B&B Hotel chain standards. Nothing fancy, but perfectly adequate if you don't intend to spend much time in the room. On the first day, the hotel was fully booked and in the morning breakfast items began running out and not being replaced. We're talking about basic things like coffee and milk here. The single member of staff on duty was also manning reception and she was overwhelmed. Not her fault, but this is a result of B&B's policy of minimal staff (reception closes in the afternoon and access is by door codes). So, when problems arise, they are sometimes difficult to resolve. For about €80,00 per night, during a high demand period, we were happy enough. But at other times, you might get better deals if you look around.

Adequate for a cheap one night stay, accommodation is basic and functional located in an industrial run down area close to motorway. Pet friendly

Disappointed by the lack of hair dryers and irons. When asked the reception for a hair dryer they replied that they had already lent it to someone... Seriously this is not a hostel Breakfast was nice and a great middle location when going southbound the next morning. About 15 minutes from the tourist attractions for Lyon.

La chambre était propre et simple. Le personnel est très accueillant et les chambres sont bien insonorisées. Le petit déjeuner propose un beau buffet.

Coincé dans une zone industrielle , l’accès à l’établissement reste compliqué, réception au 2 étages impossibilité d’accès au parking sans un code qui donne egalement accès aux chambres …,que vous devait aller chercher en laissant votre voiture en situation de gêne !!! Le parking sécurisé est un lieu propre , qui reste très accessible au véhicule type pickup ( 6€ quand même ! Le personnel est très accueillant, c’est l’établissement qui pauses problème ! Chambre étriquée,lit de petit taille, les restaurants ne sont pas légion à pied, reste le petit déjeuner…,correct sans plus ! Si je compare deux établissements B et B Clermont Ferrand et celui ci…, nous sommes tous simplement à l’opposé…,pour quelques euros de plus franchement !!! Merci d’avoir pris le temps de me lire.
