The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, the staff was amazing and spoke very good English, they knew my name and used it appropriately. The room was a little small and I didn't care the the location of the bathroom, bet it was clean and the air conditioning worked well but the mini fridge wasn't very cold and there were only 2 ice machines for the entire hotel with no scoop for the ice located on floor 6 and 16. Marriott is an American Hotel, and Americans like ice.

Stayed in room, paid top dollar for New Years Eve weekend - the room was not cleaned . I requested a discount no response . If the hotel is too busy to accommodate the holiday they should have enough staff or not have booked rooms. They again charged my room for coffee etc after all the inconvenience.

The location was the biggest strength of the hotel - right next to Gare de Lyon, so we had easy access to buses and the metro. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. The family room with king bed and sofa was fine - once the sofa bed was out there wasn’t much room at all though. The bathroom is very small, with no room for toiletries. Housekeeping was inconsistent with leaving us enough towels, depended on who was cleaning the room. Breakfast was free for kids under 10 which was a great deal. All in all, the hotel was satisfactory.

The Hotel is in a good location, surrounded by shops, it is local, the metro is fairly close by, walking distance. Our room was exactly how the picture depicted, with a wonderful view from the 11th floor and 6th as we had family staying also. Very roomy and comfortable. The gym is well equipped. We drove a van and needed parking and was recommended to a carpark called Indigo which caters for high vehicles for 24 hours. It was about £87 for 2 days, walking it was around the corner to the hotel.

It's very convenient for gare de lyon. I was there one night. Lovely large room. But had a couple of niggles. The lights didn't work. Thankfully it was still daylight. Was sorted when i brought it to the hotel's attention. Then the batteries in the tv remote control needed replacing. I mentioned to reception when i was leaving. Also, i found it a bit disconcerting that i had to deposit euro 50. I had prepaid my stay. It is credited back. But it doesn't make for a pleasant stay when there is a lack of trust.
