Holiday Inn Express PARIS - CDG AIRPORT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

No mini bar - we had a late arrival - nothing open to eat.

While the hotel is clean, the approach to it is difficult with luggage. A direct transportation from the hotel would have been preferable instead of having to take the inter-terminal train. Very hard for people like us who, while fit, are in our seventies. The service at the reception is somewhat indifferent instead of being hospitable, the restaurant is terrible.

Convenient location for flight from Paris the next morning.

Easy to get to airport. Transportation easy, comfy beds, clean and spacious.

Quick response to my enquires. Also, I was pleased to receive further info on how to get to the hotel few days prior to my arrival.

A bit of a hike and would have been nice instead of saying “free airport shuttle” say “free access via CDGVAL shuttle train”

Great hotel to stay to catch a flight. Short walk to catch the airport shuttle train to all the terminals. Sound proof window is good. Very quite.

The air conditioning was not functioning and it was very hot in the room.

Free tram ride from CDG. Minutes away. Breakfast included.

It was a very warm day and evening and AC was not turned on. Staff said it wasn’t turned on until next month. They did provide a fan after complaining which made our room a little more comfortable.

When we arrived early they were able to get us a room right away. Good breaky. Dinner was good also. Only thing was the tv kept freezing but for 1 night we didn’t try to get someone to fix it. Also getting from CDGval to hotel a bit unclear.

This is a very nice Holiday Inn Express, which is much larger than any Holiday Inn properties we've stayed at in the past. Check in went smoothly, the room was very clean with a comfortable bed snd great shower. And the convenient free shuttle to the airport is a bonus. Most importantly it was unbelievably quiet for being next to the airport. In fact, we could see planes on the runway, but no noise at all. Our biggest issue with the room was lack of air flow. It was warm, stuffy and unpleasant. Evidently, the hotel disables all the thermostats until summer, and you can't turn on the AC even when it's warm.That's ridiculous. It felt like we were suffocating without a window to open and no air circulation. I've never experienced thst in a hotel. Breakfast wasn't bad. Lots of options, although the bacon was hardly cooked at all. How difficult would it be to cook it properly so most of the fat isn't there? This was nothing but a big pan of fatty, greasy, inedible meat. Other than that, the price we paid was reasonable for a Paris hotel, especially one at the airport. There are other competing hotels next door and across the street, but we'd probably stay here again.
