Very convenient area in Paris. A quaint hotel in the heart of Paris. Great for night walks along the river, visiting the Louvre, and close to tons of shops and restaurants. Room was small, but cozy.

The room was small but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious. It was convenient to many things.
The elevator is too small for 2 people with suitcases. Had to make 2 trips downstairs.

Hotel Britannique was the perfect choice for our Paris getaway. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the Seine, Notre-Dame, and countless cafés and shops. Despite being in the center of it all, the hotel felt like a peaceful retreat. Our room was cozy yet elegant, with classic Parisian charm and thoughtful touches that made our stay feel special.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the daily breakfast, which featured fresh pastries, fruit, and great coffee.
This hotel truly captures the romantic spirit of Paris. We can’t wait to return!

Nice, small hotel, in a great location … could walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame, L’Ile St. Louis, Left Bank sights , Musée d’ Orsay, etc. Very quiet room. Bathroom had something to be desired … sloped ceiling in my particular bathroom on the 6 th floor… not great for a tall person like me. Bathtub had no safety bar whatsoever , and as typical in France, no glass enclosure to keep the shower water from spraying all over the floor. My traveling friend was not appreciative of the homeless man that slept right outside the hotel lounge window.

I’ve had a great time at this charming boutique hotel. The only negative comment I have is that the room was extremely small I’ve also been placed on the 6th floor which is the last floor of the hotel/roof lol so slanted wall on one side of the room I had to duck in the bathroom and in the room itself other than that my stay was pleasant.

This hotel is in a great location, you can walk to the Louvre or the Cathedral, and the metro or train stations that will get you everywhere else. That also means its very urban, with lots of street noise - there's a bar and restaurant right across the street. Also be aware, the description on Expedia says "soundproofed rooms". Nope. We could hear our neighbor's entire conversation through the wall. This is a charming, classic Euro boutique hotel. That means no modern amenities. So if you're looking for a huge room with modern conveniences, this isn't it. However, if youre looking for an authentic European hotel experience and a central location, this place will be perfect. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great as others have mentioned.

The Britanique is a lovely older hotel that feels like stepping back a few decades. The room we had was perfect for our quick weekend in Paris. The bathroom was tiny, but spotless. Everything was spotless. The breakfast was basic, so if you are looking for eggs Benedict, check out other spots in the neighborhood. We felt it was kind of expensive, which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Hotel was lovely. Everyone at the front desk was very polite and patient with us and offered some wonderful suggestions for cafes and coffees.

Hotel Brittanique staff was incredible. So welcoming and kind. The only thing we didn’t love was the noise from nearby bars. But the hotel and accommodations are excellent! So close to Châtelet metro!

Hotel staff was extremely friendly! Room was very clean but small. Advertised as soundproof but we were in the school at the top of the stairs on the left, and it was not soundproof at all. Excellent coffee and breakfast in the morning.

Wonderful location! It was nice to be so close to everything. We were able to walk to most destinations and for destinations we didn’t walk to, we were right by the metro. It was such a good location that we were even able to stop back in our hotel room for a rest in between our ticket times to Musée de l'Orangerie in the morning and the Louvre in the afternoon. The location is also in a surprisingly quiet street considering tons of restaurants and cafes are just down the block.
The property is a little on the dated side and our room didn’t get the most light, but everything was so clean that even with the low lighting it didn’t feel grimy or dusty at all. They also had chocolates and wine in the lobby in the afternoon, which was a nice touch.
