Hotel Motel Porticcio has a unique layout with reception, some rooms and breakfast facilities, free parking in the building close to the promenade with a wide choice of restaurants, bars and bakeries along the length of the beautiful beach.
The Hotel Porticcio then has 3 more small buildings of modern apartments
spaced on the slope behind, each with own free parking for the guests. As a couple with our small dog with us we were upgraded to a studio apartment in the 4th block with its own fenced, small terrace and garden with sea view which was perfect. We could walk less than 100 metres to the main building to be warmly welcomed by Stephanie who served us a fresh continental breakfast indoors, as mornings were a bit cooler mid-end September. In summer it is served in a pleasant roofed area outdoors.
Les Chênes is a quiet private road to only a few properties.
The studio had a kitchenette area with double ceramic hob, microwave and fridge. I wasn't planning on cooking this holiday but it was great to be able to have hot or cold drinks and snacks.
The bed was very comfortable and clean. There's a small wardrobe, with shelves and drawers. A dining table 2 chairs plus outside a small patio table, chairs, sunbed and airer for drying beachwear and towels.
The bathroom was very good and clean with handbasin, shower cubicle and w.c.
Gemma, the receptionist was always cheerful and helpful and any other staff and the owner friendly too.
No wonder this is a busy hotel without crowds.
I was for vacations. The location was terrific, next to the beach, supermarket, restaurants, all from walking distance. Staff were helpful. The only complaint is that wi-fi didn't work in my room during my stay on first floor. I had to go downstair, but no big deal.
Très bon accueil, personnel très sympathique. Parking très pratique, hôtel facile d'accès. Petit déjeuner très bien.
