This is a great place to stay in Nice! It is a little bit out of the tourist area (less than a 5 min walk and you’ll start to hit those stores and restaurants though) which we preferred. The room was super clean and it had a very cute window with French shutters (loved!!). The staff were very friendly and helpful. You could easily walk to lots of restaurants and shops, a bit of a further walk to old Nice but we were content to walk and see the city! There were also tram stops nearby - which we took back from old Nice if we got tired and to/from the airport.

The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to the train station. The rooms are tiny, and the bathroom is even worse. In my room, sitting on the toilet meant my knees pressed against the shower screen—which itself felt no larger than 2x2 feet. There was no kettle, no coffee machine, not even a cup. I had to buy my own mug just to have tea or coffee. As for the reception, the red-haired staff member should seriously reconsider his career choice—his sarcastic, condescending attitude is completely out of place. French or not, if you work in the service industry, lose the smirk.

Great location for the train and travelling further afield and easy enough to get to the old town. Good to have the air conditioning, just felt the decor was a little tired, and room a little musty on arrival.

Please, stay somewhere else. We were going to stay 5 nights but did not even stay an hour! The area around the hotel feels unsafe at night. The pictures of the hotel look way better than when there. Hotel is outdated, old, smells bad. Feels unsafe. Do Yourself a Favor and Stay Somewhere else!

Amine welcomed us to the hotel, was very outgoing and friendly. He had some great suggestions as to places to go to eat as well as things to do. The staff there was very helpful and accommodating! The hotel itself is put of the way of touristy areas, but close enough to walk to most places. If walking was a bit distant, the tram is just around the corner. The train is only a few blocks away but the hotel seems very well insulated from sound as we didnt hear any exterior noises. The room was very spacious for European standards and I was pleasantly surprised. The AC was also very nice to have on hot summer days. I would definitely stay here again!

The people were very friendly and helpful. Location was brilliant. Close to train station, shops restaurants all on your doorstp. The room we had was ok, using the toilet was a bit of a squeeze.
