Quality for the price was exceptional. Location was fantastic. Breakfast was definitely worth the price. The size of the room was fine if not spacious, bed comfortable, and shower great. And we thank the staff for their helpfulness.

Room was clean and adequate, but not worth the price. Bathroom ok but nothing fancy, soap is dispensed from pump action bottle, these are becoming very common now in low budget hotels, no more individual soap , shampoo etc. Location is excellent right in the middle of the old town. Breakfast is a joke, even by European standards, dont waste your money, walk down the street and grab something decent for about half the price.

The hotel’s location was great as it was in the heart of the town, making access to shopping and dining very convenient. The town itself is beautiful. The hotel itself is also very nice, but the room was quite small. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel location was great. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. However our Superior Room was terrible compared to some of the others. They get away with this by saying that all the rooms are unique. Do not let them give you room 11! Bleach stained old carpet. Barely any windows - they were high up, view of a wall. Slanted walls, felt very claustrophobic. Huge heavy cobweb in the top corner of the bathroom plus a black hair stuck to the wall. Towel warmer was dirty. Main bed was a queen size and was comfortable - the only thing that saved us. The spare bed was an old futon with a pretty rough cover over it. Wifi did not work. Room 3rd floor, no elevator access.

Lovely hotel right in the heart of town with many restaurants and bars to choose from. Reception was really helpful, even providing a plug adapter for my charger. No parking at the property but reception recommended a secure car park 5 minutes walk away and only €3 for 24 hours. I would definitely stay here again

I liked the atmosphere and hotel staff kimd. I did not like that there was a broken refrigerator in my room. It appeared the staff was very well aware and I had to go down a the elevator and then down steps to get to the lobby where they held my drinks in a refrigerator they had. This is not so great at 2am. Many positives but take out the old refrigerator if you have no intentions of fixing.

Avoid breakfast. Eggs were like rubber and that was pretty much the hot offering along with some sausages which I didn’t try. Various pastries, which were ok. Better and cheaper options right outside the front door. Also, if you bring a soft drink, they charge you a corkage free if you’re drinking it in a common area, which is bizarre.

Saint Martin is a really great property, it might come off as a little old or outdated to some people due to the carpet choices and some of the bathroom fixtures, but for the location and price that is not a problem, and in fact may even add to its charm. It is one of the larger rooms I’ve stayed in during my stay traveling through Europe. The bedding was thick, comfortable and felt rather luxurious. Most importantly it felt clean and safe. Is this the four seasons or ritz no, not even close but I would almost rather stay here.

I've never had such a warm welcome, it made the stay even more special. I loved my room, very comfortable, spacious and quiet - which was surprising considering that the hotel is located over a very lively place. My room had three small windows with a wonderful view over the beautiful alsacian roofs and the bed had the most comfortable mattress I've seen in years. The only downside is that the emergency light in the room shone so brightly that it was literally a nightlight, but I slept very well nonetheless.
