Staying at Lagrange Apart Hotel Strasbourg was an excellent experience from the moment we arrived. It's a short walk from the Gare Centrale - making it a dream location for a short stay in Strasbourg.
Reception staff are attentive, well informed, supportive and very kind. We had lovely chats with each of the reception staff and also the cleaning staff who are brilliant.
Our room is spacious, quiet, well equipped room. The air conditioning is quiet and has a panel where one can change the temperature and turn it off and on. It works perfectly - essential for the 35° days.
We slept deeply and woke well rested.
The kitchen had everything one could need - coffee machine, microwave, plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, utensils - even a vegetable peeler & corkscrew !
The swimming pool is lovely and very well maintained - with showers and lockers and towels for guests.
We will be recommending Lagrange to all our friends and family. We very much look forward to our next stay. À la prochaine retour !

The location was fantastic - only a 5-10 minute walk from the train station and it was a straight line, no turns. I am 74 and had no problems walking there with a very large suitcase and a smaller carryon. It was far enough away that you did not get any of the noise from the station, but close enough to make taking trains and trams for day trips very convenient and easy. The room was very quiet, the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was nothing fancy, but it was typical for a continental breakfast. The hotel was also close to Les Halles for shopping (C&A is one of my favorites every time I am in Europe) as well as other major stores, and only a 15-20 minute walk from Petit France.

Great staff, clean rooms (cleaned and restocked as necessary), wonderful pool (if u time it right u may have it all to yourself) and very convenient location. A must stay if are visiting Strasbourg for more than 3 days and want a comfortable and well connected stay.

Certainly not a legitimate 4 star hotel. Rooms are not climate controlled as listed. Somewhat clean but fairly dingy. Overall was disappointed from start to finish.

Great location, generous room size, comprehensive amenities for the en-suites and overall good value of money.
The only downside is that the indoor pool was not quite heated - it is located in the basement and the water still felt cold at 10AM in the morning.

The front desk young woman was sooo nice. She went above and beyond to make our 4 days enjoyable. The breakfast wasnt the most stocked we encountered but good for a quick meal. The room was nice. Its only a 10 minute walk to the city core and so worth it to be slightly away from the crowds. Highly recommend this stay.

The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to the main train station, the people that worked there were nice, and it was helpful to have laundry in the basement. We also liked having the pool. But, the room smelled strongly like cigarettes and space was limited.

So the reviews here are pretty mixed. Yes it is a late 90s interior and needs a refresh but the room is good it is quite there is a mini kitchen. You can walk to anything in 5 to 10 mins. Location to tain station means not cab or car and the roll to and form is not bad like 4 min
