The grounds are stunning. We were greeted by a peakcock and peahens. We saw swans and horses from our balcony as well as a view of Mont Saint Michel.
It’s not a hotel. It’s a family home and they request you don’t eat or drink in the rooms. They don’t have irons etc., but are very gracious and the breakfast is phenomenal.

This hotel was our last stop enroute home to the UK from The Algarve. The hotel is clean and the room was comfortable but there are no dining options other than an Ubereats style app for food delivery. As it was Easter Sunday everywhere was closed so we struggled to find a delivery option. The surrounding are is full of bars and restaurants so I’m sure on any other day this would have been a bustling city with plenty of restaurant and bar options nearby.

Room 109 was dark, smaller than photos lead you to believe, bed was comfy. No hand washing basin in toilet which meant you had to leave toilet and walk to shower room. The bed is positioned directly in full view of the corridor when the door is opened not screened at all. Fire alarm went off and we left the building as expected. Not one staff member engaged with us about it, we had to ask if it was a false alarm.
On arrival I asked if there was a restaurant, told No. However the stay included breakfast for our 2 night stay. We were never informed of this so missed out on Breakfast both days. Good location and secure car park mane it a good spot. Should have been told about breakfast though.

Location was great, plenty of restaurants nearby and easy walk to the old town. Staff went out of their way to help. Our room was upgraded ,but we found it rather dark and found it difficult to get ready. All in all would recommend this hotel.

Only stayed one night but good looking room, well appointed and in the center of the city. Easily walkable to everything and I noticed a part of the Porsche driving experience. Highly recommend for those going to Le Mans
