Bonjour! I really enjoyed my stay at the Villa Berlioz. All the staff was exceptionally welcoming, friendly and kind. With a special thank you to Alexia at the front desk for breaking stuff down in english and being so helpful. My room was very clean, tidy and just perfect for my needs. The hotel was easy to find and very central to many places, restaurants, metro and bus station. If I am ever in Lyon again definitely would look forward to visiting Villa Berlioz again. A lovely bunch keep up the good work. Mercì beaucoup.

Nice basic clean room near good food and shopping area. Steps away from the major train station. Staff was friendly. Bathroom was a bit tight, shower was very narrow so if you’re lightly wider person you might find it difficult to shower

The Hotel was in a great position. The lift was small and the shower was also small . Would have been nice to have an extra towel per person. The breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly.

The hotel is very near the gare de lyon parrache train station where you can have accessible train trips in other cities and neighboring schengen countries as well. the tram stops right infront of the hotel which i found very convenient when i go around lyon. Overall it was a very satisfying stay , the staff are all very accommodating like the front desk girl named Gina?

I had a great stay. The stuff was very friendly and nice and helpful. The hotel was small but very cute and comfortable. Although it’s not the center the area and location was good and easy to access by trams metro and walking (20 min to old city and belcour place) . The only minor issue was that I tried contacting the hotel before my arrival several times and didn’t got a replay. Other then that it was perfect

We had to sleep for one night in order to take the train the next morning, the room was too hot and when we asked they said "oh yes the technician didn't come today" but they didn't tell us prior to check-in and without any apologies about what happened.

Room small and had a little slope so the bed was a at a slight angle. The shower space was tight. The Hotel was cute and staff was very courteous and nice. Had trouble with WiFi first day but when we told the staff it was much better the next couple of days.

Kind and helpful staff, but the place was quite meager for the amount paid (59 euros for one person room); for instance, the bed is tiny and there was a strange smell that I couldn't get rid of for the life of me. However, it is clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.

Convenient to the train station (100 metres), but that is really its only appeal. Old building. Quite a lot of noise from the street in the evening, mostly from roudy people.

I had a quiet but memorable 5 days in Lyon. The hotel staffs were friendly and very helpful. It’s location is the best, right next to Lyon Perrache train station. My room was small but it was lovely to go back to a warm cozy room after hours of walking and discovering old Lyon. If I were to visit Lyon again in the future, which I am hoping to, I would definitely stay in this hotel again.
