Our room was spectacular - large and with 2 bathrooms! Breakfast was included and had lots of options. The hotel is a luxurious property, very quiet, and downtown Aix is close by and very walkable. A highlight was the large swimming pool and its associated hot-tub. Villa Saint Ange was one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed at!

Villa Saint-Ange is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are refined and elegant, and the whole property feels authentic and historic yet refreshed at every turn—immaculately clean and beautifully maintained without ever feeling overly modern. The perfect balance of old-world charm and today’s comforts. I’m a stickler for bathrooms, and theirs are amazing—spacious, elegant, and spotlessly clean. The staff truly goes above and beyond. We had a small hiccup with service at the restaurant on our first night, but they handled it with such grace—sending coffees and treats to our room and making sure the rest of our stay was flawless. Dinner at the restaurant itself was a lovely experience. What makes this place so special is its romantic, intimate feel. It’s not a large hotel—it feels more like staying in a beautiful garden home in France. Perfect for someone wanting to slow down, detox, and just enjoy quiet luxury. Curl up with a book, linger over a coffee, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location is ideal too: just a short, easy walk into Aix, yet tucked away enough to feel private and serene. A true gem in Provence—romantic, restorative, and unforgettable.

What we will remember most is the overall sublime ambience that we felt in every area of the property. The front desk staff were always cheerful, our serveuse (future dentist!) was patient & knowledgeable as was the sommelier. The food was remarkable, a brilliant chef! We loved François, so many jobs, such a pro!

Nestled amidst an epic garden this five-star Provençal retreat delivers the rare combination of old money authenticity and refined luxury. The architecture is an ode to the region—stone façades bathed in golden light, Every detail whispers of tradition, yet the interiors speak modern comfort: crisp linens, understated elegance, and panoramic garden views views that steal your breath away. The staff deserves every accolade—warm, discreet, and genuinely passionate about hospitality. From the seamless check-in to the carefully interaction felt personal and heartfelt. We stayed in a junior suite in a painter’s palette of colors. The private terrace, shaded by cypress trees, became our favorite spot for a morning café or evening rosé. Just do it it is a slice of heaven on earth. The restaurant was a revelation. Provençal cuisine, elevated to haute gastronomy. Each dish—was a work of art. Local wines were perfectly paired, and the sommelier’s recommendations never missed.

Wonderful property and fantastic food at the restaurant. Staff at the hotel and dinner were fabulous. My only complaint was the service at breakfast and lunch, the service was fairly poor. All in all, wonderful hospitality property though and would highly recommend if in the area

Villa Saint-Ange is a stunning property with elegant surroundings and beautifully maintained grounds. While most of the staff were professional and courteous, my one-night stay on June 15th fell short of expectations due to a few unfortunate service lapses. Upon check-in just after 5 PM, I was told a complimentary welcome plate would be offered, and I could choose when to receive it. I requested it for 7:30 PM, but it never arrived, even after I reminded the front desk. I was also informed the pool would be open until 8 PM with ongoing service. I arrived around 6:30 PM and was told towels were no longer being distributed but was given two as an exception. I asked to order a drink and was told service had ended. Moments later, while I was in the pool, the attendant began closing umbrellas—including mine—while others nearby remained open. Roughly 30 minutes later, the same attendant approached a nearby guest to take a drink order and returned with their beverages. Though the property is visually impressive and the front desk and valet staff were welcoming, the inconsistencies in communication and service impacted my overall experience. For a luxury hotel, better follow-through and guest attention would go a long way.
