The only negative thing I have to say about this property is that I didn't stay longer. This was easily the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was incredible, the restaurants were amazing, the hotel was gorgeous, the spa was other-worldly, and the staff did everything in their power to make sure I had everything I could have needed. I can't wait to come back and stay longer.

A hotel that fulfills everything you would expect from a leading hotel. The support throughout the long weekend was extremely positive. The natural friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the entire hotel, and the fact that nothing seemed too much trouble all deserve a big compliment. We had a wonderful, large double room and enjoyed the lake view from our balcony. Note a single socket on the table is really not sufficient these days. Breakfast deserves special mention. It was absolutely fantastic with everything you might ever ask for and all of the food was of the highest quality. The spa area was huge with the largest indoor pool I can recall in my travels with various saunas, steam rooms, and quiet relaxation areas. We only ate once in the hotel at the Il Barcaiolo which started badly when we were seated next to a family with a noisy child (and this was late in the evening 20:00). We were quickly moved after we asked, but, whilst the service was impeccable, we both found the food to be rather bland. Special mention to whoever was responsible for the birthday cake and greetings which were waiting for us when we returned to the room on my birthday. It was a nice surprise, and completely unexpected. I feel I should point out that the hotel charges EUR25 per day for parking which I think should be included in the room rates. We chose to park elsewhere on principle.
