The stay was fine. Only issues were:
1. No rubbish receptacle.
2. The air conditioning didnt seem to operate correctly
3. I had the window open and there was a lot of noise from outside.
Other than that a convenient stay.

Our key card allowed us into our room, but we soon discovered there was no power in the room so nothing worked. The desk attendant moved quickly to pack and move us to another room on another floor. For two people on a queen bed in the new room there was only one single comforter that we shared. I would stay here again, but now we know what to verify.

Overall impressions of the hotel had the wow factor. The check in was straight forward, although the staff could have learned a smile! The room was really nice although no tea/coffee facilities. We were given 1 small carton of water. There was an event going on in the restaurant/bar area on the Thursday evening so we weren't able to go to the bar area, we were stopped by the front of house going through to buy water which was frustrating. I needed to take tablets too! When we mentioned this to the lady at the bar on Saturday evening, she gave us a bottle of water on the house but was surprised that we weren't given drinking water each night of our stay.

Stay most years as family in the town but sad to watch it deteriorate as it’s in a great position with some nice views
Still have curtains off walls tv not working and reception said they’d sort it but didn’t/couldnt but no communication explanation etc
Bars and food around are plentiful locally

First time to stay here for a night, and would definitely recommend. The friendly staff informed us on our check-in that it’s live jazz night and it could be a little loud in the evening. But hey, it’s indeed a beautiful “noise” we could enjoy from our balcony. :)
