Just to summarize: one of the nicest smaller city hotels I have visited in years, clean, crisp, attentive service, very nice and spacious rooms, free coffee, cake and warm snacks in the afternoon, big breakfast, fantastic waterfront location, walking distance to downtown.

This hotel is good however it is priced pretty high and the room will only cool down somewhat. The parking lot was full on Saturday night so we had to park in the alternate lot which was a little further. We did appreciate that before the end of breakfast, staff visited each table to let you know they would be taking down the breakfast buffet.

We liked the hotel very much and it was situated in a very good location for walking around the town. The room was on the 4th floor with a lovely view of the river. It was spacious, very clean and service was good. The breakfast staff were efficient. Car parking was not a problem though not free (3.50 euros per day) Air conditioning was good and not noisy. Would recommend a visit to this hotel and the lovely town of Leer.

We were trying to find a hotel half-way between Utrecht and Luneburg so we found Leer on the map. This is a very nice, modern hotel, very clean, nice decor. We walked to a water-side restaurant and had a good meal. Very enjoyable night.

This hotel is beautiful and I think it’s also new. The photos in the website do not do it justice. At first I thought I was staying in a low budget hotel but when I got there I realized the place is very nice. Very modern and clean. The staff was also very friend and parking was cheap, about 3.5EUR per night.

I have been in this area of Germany many times on business. Each time if possible I stay at the Hafenspeicher Hotel. The reason is because the hotel has s nice restaurant and steam room and the rooms are very large for European standards and everything is spotless. The hotel is right beside the canal and has a nice view. I have re ommended it to all my work colleagues and we have literally stayed for hundreds of nights. I love the look of the hotel as it is in a renovated old brick building.

I stayed here for one night while traveling on business; this was my first time to Leer. Everything about this hotel was fantastic - from service, to room size, location, and included breakfast buffet. This was one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long time. Parking is next to the building for only a few Euro per night. There is a beautiful neighborhood to walk around on the water, with plenty of shopping and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

I only stayed for one evening but found all of the amenities to be very nice inclusive of the location relative to the train station (about a ten minute walk), the water, etc. Very nice gym, in house and adjoining restaurant and an excellent staff.
