Leonardo Royal Hotel Munich

Hotel is close to the U and bus stop. The hotel was clean, pillows were not so comfortable. The towels were small and kind of old. No robe or slippers. The room was okay. Room service was good. The breakfast buffet was good. I liked the selection, especially the omelette. A suggestion: need at least 2 people at the omelette, egg station; the line gets too long and I really feel bad for the person cooking. I would return to the hotel if we go back to Munich.

New facility. Nice room, nice common area. Great breakfast, worth the money. Area is quite off center but there is metro station nearby.

Worst experience at this hotel we got it because it was our cheapest option for Oktoberfest, educated staff and the people staying in it as well, from the check in they treated us like we were not welcomethe staff yelling at me like I don’t understand, I get it’s a busy season for you you’re not in the best mood. Then he said our room was not ready which I understand but while giving keys left and right to other people mostly German I was not the only one who noticed this as someone I met on the elevator told me they noticed this as well, they had us open all of our luggage in front of everyone to try to get ready, people laughing at us until the manager came in and asked what was happening,I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels all over the world before and this is not one of them it all, the staff that helped me do the check in asked about the weight of my credit card which I considered inappropriate and weird, servers at the bar/restaurant wouldnt take our order unless we would go to the bar, the group next to us while we were eating making weird comments about us not knowing we all speak English and Spanish saying very disrespectful things, I can tell this is where new money people like to hang out, behaving trashy just like this place. Once again I saw this same behavior with different international travelers so I’d avoid it if I don’t wish to be treated this poorly

Great experience, nice rooms, excellent breakfast, efficient staff. overall good experience

Room was ok just the design layout was left to be desired. Frosted glass on the bathroom door ment that everyone was up if someone was using the bathroom. There was absolutely no storage for in the room side tables were just a flat space, cabinet had no shelves and bathroom had one small drawer with the middle out for plumbing. So short stay is fine but we were there for 6 days and lived out of our suitcases . A/C worked fine , staff were great at breakfast always with a smile and remembering your coffee preference. Breakfast was the same each day but has a large variety of options

This hotel was fantastic, located within a 5 min walk from the train station it was great. The weather was so hot we ate in the restaurant in the evenings and the food was lovely. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend

Room was good size and looked modern. The bed was comfortable, the pillows not. The shower and bathroom was also of good size, however not many utensils provided. Parking in the garage was difficult to find when coming back in the evening. Overall a good hotel and stay.

Location is great. Looks clean and great housekeeping service. Room is bit smaller and compact than expected.

The hotel was nice and clean and convenient to the underground station. The Olympic park being so nearby was great, but the other direction was not spectacular and the staff was not friendly, especially at check in, I was actually really surprised. They also just shut off keys before check out time even hits.

Overall everything was perfect, the staff was friendly, and helpful whenever I traveled to Munich Leonardo is my favorite place to stay in

No drinks in room or in vending machine

Away from Munich but easily accessible by the subway. Incredible free breakfast included. Omelettes, pastries, fresh squeezed OJ. Fresh honey. Fruit.

Overall a good hotel. We enjoyed the price with included hotel parking. There was an underground train stop nearby. The room very was nice. The hotel decorations were a bit strange and the layout and hallways to get to the parking was a bit odd. Most of the staff seemed like they did not really want to be there. While they assisted us, they seemed uninterested or distracted.

It was truly an enjoyable experience. From Reception to the waitresses, everyone made me feel comfortable.
