Hotel Tier

You get what you pay for. Stayed 4 nights as a couple getaway to Athens and vicinity. Hotel offers basics - room, shower, bedsheets, towels, kettle. There is no housekeeping/towel change unless you specifically request it. It is VERY noisy, you will hear all neighbours on all floors, nearby construction, traffic from the road and pigeons on the windowsill. Highly recommend packing earplugs and eye mask. Location of the hotel is also sketchy with homeless tent “village” just across the block, sometimes you can see people smoking crack sitting on the road side on your way back in the evening and some discarded syringes nearby. Even at reception they advise to take an underground instead of walking… thankfully we had no incidents as tried to avoid / crossed the road and moved quickly through. Cheap furniture, a bit mouldy shower/sink, stiff bed and dated laminate with cracks in the surface, it is far away from luxury or even good level of comfort. No breakfast offered and no cafes in immediate vicinity, so you need to plan ahead. But with all fairness, for a price of £43/night and 20min walking distance to Athens central locations (or 10 min by public transport) it is still a decent deal and does the job, but beware that it looks better on pictures and try to avoid the creepy areas.

We found the property very good. The hotel was near some really nice places to eat and the Stanley Café near the hotel was fantastic. The hotel itself was personally ideal. It was perfect for a short visit to Athens. It was clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I would definitely stay there again if I went to Athens the area around the hotel is not the best but we were fine. We didn’t have any issues.

A nice small hotel only 2 minutes from a metro station. Very helpful staff, great quick elevator, and lots of places to eat nearby. Neighborhood a bit noisy and not posh, but ok to stay here. Comfortable room with a balcony.

Hotel Tier is clean and comfortable. It is an ideal base for visiting nearby places of interest as the metro station is only a couple of minutes walk away Maria on reception is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit

Terrible stay. You get what you pay for. Tiny room and bathroom with a toilet that you cannot use if you are medium or large size person. Bums and graphite on the street. No reception staff from 10 PM to 8 AM so if you're locked out of your room during this time, good luck to go back in.

Very affordable, clean and close to Metro Station. Staff are friendly. It is not fancy as five star hotels but its excellent if you are travelling within your budget.

Its a good place

Friendly service, good rooms with comfy beds. Missing tea/coffee, though had kettle, bathroom was tight. Sketchy people outside, probably not good for coming home late, but they made no hassle during the day. Good access to transport and able to walk to most things easily. Would stay again if wanting to return to Athens.

Hotel was clean, air conditioning and a workint television were great. Staff were always pleasant to deal with. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel at all. However, the area it is in is truly disgusting. A lot of homeless people, gatbage, human feces and needles on the sidewalk.

Hotel is clean, safe, tidy, with lift, and a very up to date security doors. Convenient location. Near to metro station. Staff very friendly and helpful. The only annoying thing was a leak in the bathroom coming from shower, but not a big deal, only 1 toilet paper in the bathroom, also, the area is a bit dodgy, we must be careful going around , even though i could go around by foot without any problem.

Very simple and easy hotel. Did a late check-in for me. Area is well connected but out of the city centre. Security on the hotel was good which was affirming for me as a solo traveller. Had everything I needed for 1 night stay. Thank you

Clean room and convenient location

It’s a good place to stay. Very convenient for getting around since it’s only about a block away from the subway station. The only issue I had was there is an escape room across the street that opens at night and you can hear people talking that are waiting in line. Also, that noise carries from the other floors through the marble staircase. But that’s more of an older person issue like myself, wouldn’t be a problem for someone younger.

Good hotel, bad location Clean and tidy and good value Location is good by the tube station but not a nice area of Athens to stay in especially at night
